The first two first chapters made me mtl the rest (btw I hv the patience of a saint, I normally dont mtl shit) but this one caught my interest

Easily one of my favorite bl stories! The twist was unexpected (regarding shou's past and gong's past that you thought was obvious in the beginning) , they solve the misunderstanding beautifully (and tearjerkingly) , the shou is rational and gentle (did I mention they didnt hv s*x until the 23rd chapter? The shou isnt weak nor s*upid and was able to stop the ml's advances) , the ML is your typical possessive ML but better... everything is just *chef's kiss* well done! Give it try, see if you'll enjoy it like I do

Whenever I read these Chinese novels where a mental illness is a character trait, I always ask myself, why don't these authors do actual research on the mental illness they're referencing. Like it just pisses me off so much. Just couldn't suspend my disbelief for this once even though I am a fan of yandere characters.

I have been seeing a lot of negative reveiws about this novel because it has r*pe and there is lack of consent blah blah blah.

Guys please learn to read the tags first. They are there for a reason. It clearly says "r*pe" and "Yandere" there, how do you still expect this to be light and fluffy and all flowery, and wanting a kind loving green light normal ml. You know you had it coming.

I know most of yall will be uncomfortable with these kind of stories and I understand. So... more>> before reading its your responsibility to read the tags before reading the actual novel. And if you are too lazy to read then its your fault. There is literally a warning in every chapter before the thing happens. The translator even censored and hide the content and it is up to you if you wanna read them. If this is not for you or it is uncomfortable. Ifs its not good for your mentality then Skip this novel. You are not oblige to read. Avoid this novel.

As for me I dont mind these kinds of novel. There are times when I like to read those light and fluffy cute romance novel and there are also times when I like to read stuff like this. This is just fiction guys. But its okay if you cant take these kind of novels. But just remember, whenever you want to read any novel read the tags first.

Oh my goodness gracious, how can I cleanse this sin of a novel from my memories...

It's like I went back to the days where we only had the 90s and early 2000s yaoi manga where r*pe was heavily romanticised or brushed over.

I love the MC, he's quick-witted, intelligent and charming. I am very much into possessive semes, but only those that have learnt CONSENT.

My threshold was actually so high, I turned a blind eye to the unwanted kisses, physical contact and fondling but WOAHHHH BOY this ML has not only... more>> drugged the MC and attempted r*pe, he literally r*ped the MC not once, twice, nor trice... AND the man did it while MC was under drug influence (given by another party, not ML). I'm getting secondhand trauma!

I know ML is written to have some sort of complicated mental illness, but the lack of compassion and understanding is killing me. I was so happy to find an MC that isn't so feminine and wallflower-like but he simply gets treated as an object. I'm sort of thinking the MC started a butterfly effect by actually not terminating his contract and leaving the ML for good... there's been a handful of s*xual harrasments and all MC considers is that he feels bad for taking the money, and that it looks bad if he didn't finish the job. My man, where is the self-care?! Thought a psychologist would see the signs of this arrangement going to a dead-end.

Let's not forget how the ML tricks MC into signing a 50-year contract with a 30mil penalty to make sure MC doesn't leave him...

Please read the tags before deciding to read the novel. People do be ignoring the tags and rating the novel low because of the mature contents in it.

The plot is good, the reveal of MC's past towards end of chapters were really unexpected. I love the MC the most, out of all the characters present. Most of the ML's behaviours are excused in the name of mental instability... can't figure out a better word atm. Idk how to put this but man needs some lesson on consent. He ain't a... more>> bad lover though.

The two little cuties that were adopted by MC and ML are so cute! I love how they treasure their new family and try their best to be each other's support, in their very own unique way. Would love to read more chapters on them.

The step brother is also quite a character. He kinda grew onto me as the chapters proceeds.

The Extras were quite nice. The story wrapped up well. It's definitely not an easy going plot but it's not a hard pill to swallow either.

Ignore the ratings and give it a go, who knows you might like it.

is the story f*ed up? Yes, but you saw the ML is 188 cm. And at this point you gotta know what 188 is in BL.

but trust me- really- this ML tried. He is way better than some of this shittiest ML I have read.

tbh, as a person who value work ethics, I felt really uncomfortable with what MC did. ML’s dependance on MC and MC’s feeling of affection can simply be called as result of psychology and not actually... more>> love. That did irk me a bit. Because I have seen such cases in real life, and they do not end well. But at the end of the day- treat this as a piece of fiction and have a good read while relaxing. <<less

This is a breach of privacy and it is manipulation that is unacceptable in real life just imagine someone who has trust issues and clear desire to defend himself who is confident and prideful , what would his reaction to being manipulated by a psychologist hired by his father without his consent, he get to his deepest secrets and made him fall in love, how humiliated would he feel and his trust issues would rush to the maximum, especially by how easily this person changed him and made him rely... more>> on him, he is lucky he got out of it alife, I know this seems gloomy and pessimistic and it was a last ditch effort from his father, but, the person he fell in love with got money to be with him, is clearminded and in control , while he is dependent, had been manipulated the entire time has a breach of trust and made a foul out of himself, and I tell you no prideful person would accept this, I dont know how the author plans to twist this for the better when this whole farce got exposed <<less

Quite good story. There’s some twisted mindset here but it’s very light. The couple after some time became very sweet. ML even though quite twisted but he’s quite cute to MC. MC is actually quite kind maybe to kind but he’s just trying to survive his dark past and try to help whenever he can. Overall is a bit twisted sweet romance. Not everyone cup of tea, but for entertainment it’s quite good. Thank you
