This read like something I would have read in a literature class - the writing is very clean, the translation is excellent, and the author does a great job of Show Don't Tell. It's a gem of a short story.

I liked the writing, would have been better had it been a longer story. The opening ending wasn't the problem, more like, I didn't know what was happening at the end. It was a little unclear whose perspective it was at the end.

Warning: a very open ending that makes you confused. I search up the original cn novel and it was completed and exactly what was translated. Not much satisfaction to gain here from how open it was.
