This one... how to explain it? It's a snake orgy. Yes, I'm serious. To be fair, it's well-written and very detailed (and informative?!), with Eunyoo being an intriguing character - albeit a tad too weak/passive for my liking. Also, the baby snake was rather lovable. However, this mesh of "niche (p*rn) tropes" was all too much for me, and since some of the author's other works seem to follow similar themes ("Bride of Dogs", "Bride of Horses"), I don't dare... more>> to check them out... therefore, I cannot give "Bride of Serpents" more than three stars.

Ahem... to start off, the only thing I can say that if u love snake themed yaoi, then feel free to go ahead. As for myself, yeah I am a fan of snake themes, although those are transformable to handsome hunks. Throughout the novel I was like, "Ok, so when are my snaky hunks gonna arrive?"

The author, I presume, has an overwhelming preference for bestiality and or*y and it is a generally agreed rule that MCs in smut have a heaven-earth-galaxy defying body constitution. Still, a little moderation would have been good.

Well. This is definitely something else...

I seriously admire writers like this, pushing boundaries and creating something that is totally uncommon. The story, although filled with s*x, had an interesting turn near the end. The ending seemed fitting for a story like this.

Even if I'm not on board with this subgenre, it still helps to try other stuff I haven't before. It's bizarre, but I found it intriguing lol. It read like horror to me, and I guess it's good that I'm a horror fan too lol.
