The beginning started out okay with MC getting "revenge" for the original owner of the body. I guess ML fell in love at first sight, because otherwise, he was giving aid to MC for no reason other than being a next door neighbor. Still, it wasn't horrible until a little past the beginning where the revenge starts getting really annoying because it drags for a bit. And this is where you realize this story gets super repetitive.

Bad people come up to steal their stuff. MC and ML threaten them away.... more>> Helpful neighbor comes up to give them tribute (for borrowing their boat). Bad people come by for their stuff. MC and ML threaten them away. Helpful neighbor. Repeat.

Even the MC and ML's relationship is repetitive. MC is complaining about cold/heat/something. ML coaxes/forces him to have s*x. MC "punishes" ML for overdoing it by not letting him in space, not letting ML eat, making him shower in -60 degree weather, etc. Then, repeat. All MC knows to do is complain complain complain.

And when it comes to moral choices, of course MC is always correct. It's always a trap if MC refuses to save, or if MC does save, then of course the saved person is super grateful and becomes another "helpful neighbor" that comes back often with tribute.

I read it because I was bored and wanted to read a new apocalypse story, but I would have been better off just re-reading one I'd already read before. Not worth your time. MC was the worst thing in this story. <<less

Average story ig? There's some plotholes and this probably author's early works where it's not well written.

I feel like watching Pay To Win players (MC and ML) playing a game together. They're there for a vacation or something. If hostile players attacked them, they will eliminated them permanently. They will take action if there's any important event. Just like P2W players behaviours. Loll.

Both MC and ML doesn't trust anyone easily regardless they're children or elderly. ML is stoic, mature and look cold until..... he and MC became couple. His cold... more>> stoic shts became pe*vert, henpecked husband. MC personality totally like side character ish behaviour except rn he's MC.

Despite the story took place in novel, the story barely mentioned about protagonists of the novel. I don't think MC ML and protagonists interacted or fight together to overcome the apocalypse.

Basically, the plots is... plain? The only thing that I vividly remember is MC and ML played Minecraft. Loll

Overall, I recommend you to read this if you don't have any story to read to pass time. It's still okay. <<less

This is the type of book that I'd badly wish for a transcender to mess up the MC and ML. ML was fine at first but when they finally confirmed their relationship, author seemed to have deleted his character and just made him into a meathead lackey of MC who wants to r*pe him all the time. And most of the time, MC can be quite an unreasonably cruel character and author just throws a few sentences to justify his actions and gaslight the reader (it would've been fine if... more>> the gaslighting sounds convincing, but nope, not at all.. It just makes you frustrated) <<less
