The last few chapters were a roller coaster of a time. I wish it lasted longer since it felt a bit rushed. (To me at least) I was kinda getting whiplash from how fast it was going. Things were a bit too vague for my liking as well.

I really disliked the ML and by the end I still wasn’t satisfied to 100% because he did do the MC so wrong towards the end of the first life. Though the growth into emotional maturity was nice.

I also got Twilight vibes. ML... more>> reminded me of Edward Cullen so many times it was crazy. <<less

Everyone already wrote the good points of this novel so I'll be short.

If we're talking about good stories, 9/10 of them are some lemonade which was worth to read it once because it was fairly exciting and fun. This here is the one which is better than those stories, the author really put a lot of effort in it (character and world building, storytelling etc).

I won't rate it because of two reasons. The first is that nowadays I'm tired of political/palace dramas so I dropped this novel two times before... more>> I could finish it. The other reason is that I don't really like world hopping either and it made me unsatisfied that it took this much time for their happy ending which took place in a system space where only they were present. I understand the reason and it came naturally from the events, I just don't like it. <<less

so good, seriously the transformation that the main characters go through is really something very unique and touching, like in the earliest parts I hated the ML so much that I hoped him and the MC didn't end up together, I was REALLY pissed, but then

he went through a very realistic transformation and the truth was revealed and seeing him being so in love with the MC but hopeless to be loved in return

One of the book where it took a lot of chapters for MC to forgive the ML. I kinda understand the blurred line between love or actually past guilt. ML worked so hard in order for the MC to forgive him. I was shocked when I read the time line when they saw each other. Few years apart. The ending between them is just right.

I'm not new to the wife chasing crematorium trend so I picked this up to see if I'd finally like it. Bad idea. As with works with similar ideas: the sad backstory, the strong but so-very-in-love MC who dies a regrettable death, the intensely regretting ML whom you're supposed to be rooting for in their next go around is the perfect set up for face slapping and dog blood... but every. Single. Time. I am reminded that I hate these types of MLs. *Insert choking ML emoji*

I'm dropping this, I've... more>> heard the MC and ML are going to get back together and I don't want to see that.

ML sexually harasses MC, he pushes himself into MC's life, threatens him, and I'm not here for that. I want to see an ML who grovels, but so far, I have seen way too much of the MC just constantly dealing with s*um behavior from our ML.

I know he'll change (the spoilers in the comments have said as much), but even so, I'm of the mind that MC deserves a happy single life with his mom. The relationship between MC and the people he cares for is wholesome and beautiful, the fact that he wants a better life for his family is what kept me reading, but I cannot go on reading when I know that somewhere in this we'll end up seeing MC with ML again. <<less
