The only reason why I didn't dropped it's because the genre scratch my niche. Started reading it because its from the same author of the great WebNovel Warlock of the Magus World. But this one seems is not that good.

Reasons to read it: You enjoy transmigration; xuanhuan; a peek into many different worlds each one with its own power systems; makes you reminiscent of other novels or stories that were not completed or didn't had a sequel; very little to no sexism, xenophobia, LGBTQ hate, and/or distasteful Chinese nationalism; and... more>> the novel is actually completed (I hate hiatus status and I already have too many ongoing).

Reasons to avoid it: too long for its own good since it doesn't flush out good stories from the many worlds; MC is not relatable, interesting, not much character development other than the power level; Story lacks cohesiveness, side stories are dropped. <<less

As usual it starts off great, then falls off. Protagonist tends to be really lucky but not as bad as some other WNs and he's a pretty reasonable guy for the most part. He is pretty much indifferent toward everyone else so there's no romance and side characters are constantly forgotten.

After the intro bit he goes around to a bunch of other worlds that each have their own unique styles and cultivation systems, and all of them have been entertaining so far. He even starts off as a fish in... more>> one, so definitely worth a read for that alone imo.

The main problems are that he tends to rush through the worlds and the addition of new power levels and such feels like it'll just keep stretching as long as it can. Most of the worlds are worthy of having a novel set in them alone, but he's able to use his cheat to finish them quickly. There's also a pretty big plot hole involving creation powers which I found annoying. <<less

Good novel. I like the MCs character. MC has the personality to survive in a cultivation world. Very much like Leylin. For me this is a character driven story which is why I like it. If you do not like the MC you will not like this novel, so people who like the good guys should just back out

This is like a stitched-up story of various parts of other stories. Stories like the three kingdoms, journey to the west, etc.

The MC is like a hypocrite of ret*rdedness where the wannabe knock off writer probably has the same personality. ALOT and probably nothing less than TONSSSS of convenient stuff came out to resolve any problems for the MC.

That was just the start. Later the writer would randomly throw things expecting readers to know and understand. It's like in a middle of a fight, then somehow it turn into something like wth-did you just got PMS? How do you change the topic or scene so fast. Basically, the writer threw a screwball to the audience and screwed them in the a-hole.

Talking about changing things, yes, that was another good point that the wannabe writer excels at. He change scenes faster than you jug down a bottle of beer. He's also good at muttering gibberish crap just to fill up the quota for chapters.

In all honesty, I still haven't figure the plot or purpose of the novel. If anything, it probably ends up like any Chinese fanatics who are into cultivation. Pretty much like other Chinese cultivation novels, it will probably end up like multiple universe, gods, etc.

Bad enough the writing sucks, the translation only make you more confused than ever. <<less

Great story MC is unlike those who believes in killing or goes 2 or 3 abobe and kills his enemy he is not someone who mindlessly falls in love or or with dumb morals he is ruthless in a very small number of situations as the plot is in such a way

To those who read till only 30 or 50 chapter I'd say do read ahead you may get impressed
