the ML is soooooo green and I love it. In the recent translated manga chapter he wanted to get angry with MC but later turned around to admit his mistake and it was sooooooo cute. And the way MC hit that dumb b*tch of a S grade guide and threatened him to get out was so satisfying

Pretty binge worthy read, I’ve read it alongside with the Audio drama that I bought and I finished it in a day. It’s sentinel x guide!!

The plot is short but it’s pretty straightforward low level guide meets with god level sentinel who is the emperor of an empire which gives us the political plot afterwards.

The ML is a very cute Tsundere btw, He’s has a pretty bad temper overall but the way he treats MC sometimes will just make your heart melt.

Also this book is super friendly for those who... more>> crave for side couples. Because there’s at least 4 more in the story besides than the main CP >v<

I love love loveeee this novel such a cool ML and MC. I love how different and interesting their combo is.

The ML was a blunt lover while the MC was a chaotic funny yet good guy... chefs 😘

However, I hate the ending. I feel robbed like they both gave up royalty after working hard for it.. sounds unrealistic to me.

I'm so glad I could read this gem. It's a mensao ML with MAX level boyfriend power x practical and capable MC with ZERO romantic sense.

Although ML's first impression was bad you can see that his actions don't really match his words, he may say mean things but he always looked out for MC's safety during their first encounter. Later on as their relationship developed, it was hilarious to see our ML doing grand romantic gestures that went over the head of dense MC. But! MC is quick to develop... more>> his EQ and it's always fun to see their PDA haha.

The side CPs are also interesting especially the female general and star pirate cp. They're always bickering and fighting in each scene. It's a little chaotic from beginning to end but the characters are decently fleshed out, even the side CPs got to have their own developments/backstories. It's like each couple is showing different "flavors" of love like sacrificing for love, passionate and fiery love, or a silent and enduring love that kind of thing. It was nice to read. I just feel sorry to Lin Donglian he really can't catch a break from beginning to end, he's destined to be a workaholic hahahaha

It's a story with a green flag ML and I was surprised he was a green flag from beginning to end. I had to double check if it was really a danmei or not. We need more green flag ML seriously, my heart is tired of red flag ML 😔. I just wish there were extras for each couple's married life though, I would've liked to see them having kids and whatnot.

Anyways I recommend reading this. It's a short fun read, theres no boring parts from start to finish. I binge read for a few hours. Many thanks to the translator for your hard work 👏.

I binge read this one in one day. I was hook the first time till the end that I can't stop! This is a gem! Short but full! I love the interactions of both leads as well as the side couples. The flow of the story is good too. There are not many angst or drama only full of positivity, fluff and sweetness with little adventures of all the characters. I hope to read more like this story. 🫰🤩

Did I always understand it? No

The author wrote a really nice ML in that it wasn't the usual 'cold, cruel, unfeeling' main lead trope who casually mistreats the MC. At first, he was a little rough, but once that love bug hit, he grabbed on with both hands.

The author isn't always helpful in explaining the story line. Many times I just took what was written at face value and moved on. That sort of worked. And it did get better in later chapters. All in all, it was a good read.

The plot is good. Either the writing is disjointed or the translation is. The whole works better as a manhua where disjointed story-telling isn’t such a big issue.
