The thing that made me feel less connected to this book is the "one piece" element because I have never read or watched it, so I don't really understand much of the plot related to one piece. But I can still read and understand most of the plot so it's not too much of a problem, just needs a little research.

And one more thing. The translation actually sucks. I had a lot of problems with the character names. I suspect that there were two translators for this book, because at the beginning of the book (maybe up to chapter 50) the character names were still consistent and good (because this is Naruto so the names have a Japanese feel). But after that, the naming immediately changed drastically, some characters changed their names, some had their names translated literally into English, and most of the others had a Chinese feel (of course I know this book was originally in Chinese, but there is still a sense of dissonance when the family name is Japanese but the personal name is Chinese).
