For reasons unknown, Harang became a Sabida and lived through countless ages stained with infamy.

One day, summoned by the Heavenly Emperor, Harang received a task.

Born under the shadow of accusations that he had devoured his parents, Yeongang lived a harsh life, targeted by evil beings due to his ability to perceive supernatural entities.

After losing his grandmother—his only remaining family—and standing at the edge of death, Harang appeared before him.

“Until you reach adulthood, I will protect you from evil spirits.”

“Does it have to be me?”

“Probably.”

“I have no abilities—I’ll only be a burden.”

“Well, my judgment has always been correct.”

A beautiful man with an air both mysterious and dangerous. Yeongang couldn’t fully trust Harang, who appeared suddenly and spoke cryptically—but he had nowhere left to retreat.

And so, Yeongang took the hand that Harang offered him.

Even if he couldn’t be certain whether the path he chose was truly the right one.
