Song Tan won the Grand Slam of the three Golden Globes and became the youngest and most valuable powerful actress in film history. Five years ago, she suddenly disappeared from the entertainment circle, and speculation continued.

Until the media accidentally photographed Song Tan holding a cute pink little girl at the airport. She looked exactly like the actress of that year, delicate and beautiful.

That night, the hot search exploded: [Former actress secretly married and had a child] [Child’s father] [Song Tan, single mother]

A friend called and asked: Who is the child’s father?

Song Tan: … Ji Fuxi.

Song Chuqing is four years old this year and is in the middle class of kindergarten.

One day after school, she saw a man standing at the entrance of the kindergarten who was more handsome than Ryder. He was tall and had long legs, and had the same eyes as hers!

Song Chuqing looked up and asked timidly, “Who are you?”

Ji Fuxi squatted down, hesitated for a moment, and whispered, “I’m Dad.”

Later, a voice from an animation could often be heard outside the president’s office: “There is no difficult work, only brave dogs!”

If there was no Song Chuqing, Ji Fuxi and Song Tan would not have had any intersection, and would not have been forced to raise a girl with her.

One quiet night, he opened the door and saw a woman sleeping soundly in a small bed with her daughter.

I don’t know how long he watched, Ji Fuxi walked in lightly and picked her up.

The first time he held her, it was much lighter than he imagined.

3.5 to be honest, the main character (who is the mom by the way) Is a bit emotional for me. I mean I love good emotions and everything, but I think although I understand why she is the way she is because the book does explain it, but she's a bit irrational to me. I understand it though because emotions aren't very rational. It definitely gives a sense of well she's not logically thinking everything through and it's okay. Most of the time. I think the one that annoyed me... more>> the most was just I felt like at some point definitely the husband was more invested in the relationship than she was but I'm also trying to acknowledge you know she was obviously very busy doing her career and eventually obviously she did get to a point where she acknowledged why it was so difficult for her to understand love and whether she loved him. And you do understand why they do repeat it to you at the moment that makes sense as well.

So that's one of my gripes but another one was that surprisingly And I usually really am a career focused reader in the sense of supporting the character's career and wanting to read about it.... But surprisingly for this book, I think it's because it's description even says it's like a child raising book, I didn't really care For when the book chose to write more about her career. But luckily it does turn back to the child at the point where I thought maybe it would just go too far into her career. Because to face the facts, the author does not write about her career in detail enough like the films are not written in detail like the scenes are not written in detail..... So even if you focus on her career there is not enough emotional or any investment in there so as a reader I don't care and it's not like the top tier writing of a career you know. So the author is better off writing about the child and the child's everyday life and perspective because a. They're better at it the writing is better there and b. It's more interesting actually to read And is more unique. As in there are more unique scenes that are not just so predictable because this book in essence is a fluffy predictable book with just a unique concept of being really convoluted about how two people got together because of a child. And the circumstance is very you know judgmental as in you could judge her for how They started but then it doesn't get really clear on how they made this child until the end of the book really.

So those are the two things that I have the biggest gripes about other than the fact that I think the Polish is not there. I think every fluffy book can be a masterpiece if it's written well enough and I think the polish is just not there. The details aren't really there either. I think definitely author shined the most when they were writing about the child's perspective. But to be fair I love reading about the parents romance but it just took a really long time to get started and to get going so that was a bit of a lull.

It's really not that complicated of a book because it's kind of very stereotypical you know like there are senses of yeah there isn't complete logic and everything that's going on here, but you're enjoying the ride somewhat especially for a happy family and a happy child. And honestly you should only be reading these books if you like reading about happy families And that's what I like so I did enjoy it. And there are a lot of refreshing moments to this book like complicated wealthy relationships shown through the ml's family that is not stereotypically done. He's not close to his half-sister but he doesn't do anything to her and she doesn't do anything to him really. I mean there's history there but we don't get into it and I'm kind of glad for it. And what's great is that there's a lot of maturity here because the daughter makes friends with the son of his half sister And the mother who is the main character pretty much is very clear about you know we shouldn't influence them and we should try to make sure that they can still have a good relationship with each other and says that to the half-sibling Of her husband. So I think there are unique moments that are not stereotypical and I appreciate for that but I just think yeah it could have been better. But it's still enjoyable. I need to remind myself to read the extras.

Spoiler

I think it's very obvious But I will state it again that's having a child without telling the other person AKA the father And keeping that child away from the father especially if the father is not a danger to that child and you do not think he would be, is kidnapping. I will repeat this again it is kidnapping. It is not anything else... what you think it is... let's define it very clearly. If you were to take a child away from her parents what is that called? Kidnapping. So when you have a child and you don't tell the father that is what? Kidnapping.

And you know what that's where I find it a little bit irrational but she actually does acknowledge it at some point. It's kind of ridiculous because the Male lead does say like oh it's my responsibility and it's my fault for not being there for you. But hello like she did not even tell you LOL and he's all like what if I just called you back after that night although we know nothing about that night until way later on in the novel like pretty much near the end. And then you learned that they were both pretty conscious like they were fully like they had met each other sober in that room and then decided to drink and then decided to have s*x together that was like totally consensual there was nothing to forget. So the fact that he didn't call her back after I mean he probably didn't think he needed to I mean first of all like he probably used the cond*m. Anyways that's what they said. So yeah but still like the fact that he said that and said that he felt responsible it's like no that was not your fault girl. The mom AKA the main character should have told you.

And I think at some point she is like owning up to that I don't know if she explicitly said it but I got the vibe from some of her words that it was like no it's my fault for like keeping her away or something but I don't think she said those exact words to be honest but I got the sense that she did understand her part in this. And there are times where you're like she's a bit irrational but you kind of kind of understand it. Like she doesn't fully understand how love works and the first time she's even understanding love is through her child and she doesn't have a very United family it's very broken so she has a lot of fears. So it makes her beginning part of this novel very irrational especially how like she approached him and then is regretting approaching him and then like has this whole dramatic debacle about crying in front of him. Even though she got everything and more and it's kind of crazy because he accepted everything by just gut feeling alone. But you know this is why it's a fluffy novel it's totally fine. But what honestly was the problem with this novel is not the logic inconsistencies as much as like the level of enjoyment and honestly the level of execution. I think you can still have plot holes that make sense for what you can consider a fluffy novel so you're like yeah of course they won't be completely logical cuz it's you know like the entertainment and CEO romance line like what do you expect right? but what takes it further for me as a masterpiece is really when you add really unique moments and really unique characters and like scenes that I've never seen before or has never been presented in a certain way before and even though you know some things may not be completely logically sound as long as it's morally okay it's fine. (That wasn't really done here but that's okay) And to be honestI do sense that she is maybe an unreliable narrator in a way just because she's irrational due to her emotions and due to her history so you do understand... like the author makes you understand why she acts the way she does. Like they do say it. I mean is it expertly done? No but it's okay. At least it was done and we didn't have to guess it. So for me I think this is a solid decent book and yeah don't invest too much time on in it and don't lose sleep over it like I did. I don't know why I didn't sleep when I was reading this. Lol
