Enter Yuu Natsume, a boy who's only interested in making jewelleries and doesn't care for romance since he isn't over his first crush. Who happens to meet Himari while he was trying to sell his creations which she helps out with. After that they start hanging out (as in she hovers over his head while he's trying to make jewelleries) and they fell into a routine where Himari just keeps teasing him to her own amusement. But she helps him advertise and sell his jewelleries so he doesn't mind being dragged around by her.

Himari, who is a spoiled and egoistical rich girl, doesn't know what love is and instead of refusing the love confessions, she says yes because it would be too bothersome otherwise. And uses the MC as her emotional support pillar while she is seemingly dating other people.

Enomoto, whom the MC meets because he saw her using one of his bracelets, is a cold and distant person who refuses the MC's help because she thinks he is untrustworthy. After some back and forth the MC helps her out with the bracelet and they start getting to know each other thanks to Himari already knowing Enomoto and trying to play the cupid between them. Then we also get to know that Enomoto was the MC's first crush from years ago.

Meanwhile after Himari saw that the MC started to put Enomoto over her, she starts to get really entitled and b*tchy, saying she should always be his priority and declared that their friendship is over since he can no longer be there to cater to her whims. MC surprisingly clapped back, saying that means Himari only ever saw him as a convenient guy whom she can play around with and she didn't really value their friendship. Which Himari responds by bluffing, saying she will leave to some other city where she'll work (which was a lie). The absurd part is however, the MC responds to this by saying he'll leave the school and go with her to that city if that means they'll get to keep their friendship (over a girl he knew for a year btw). Effectively undoing any of the self awareness he has shown in their previous interaction. Himari realizes she is in love with him but since he values their friendship, she seeks out to bind him with 'the shackles of friendship'.

After this they go back to their routine and +1 Enomoto, who is written as a hollow character so you know she will never win. Even though she has already confessed her feelings to the MC and pending an answer which doesn't seem likely to be positive since the MC also realized he loves Himari, but i'll let someone more tolerant than me read and review that since I can't be bothered with reading this anymore.

I'll be rooting for the Enomoto who hasn't given up fully knowing she's seven laps behind Himari, she's one of realest losing heroines.
