Pretty good. It’s a short face-slapping novel with an OP protagonist. There is no tension, since the MC has the upper hand at all times, but that can be nice sometimes.

I didn’t like the romance subplot at all, but that could be a matter of taste.

The ML is one of those psychotic yandere fake white lotus types (acts meek in front of MC but is basically a sociopath who only cares about MC), which is a character type I personally hate. Also, since the ML was the MC’s disciple in the other world, MC raised him from childhood, which I know is a divisive trope.

Some things were glossed over that probably should have been expanded on. Like, it was implied that

the rogue system influenced MC’s brother to hate the MC, but I think more detail on that would have been nice to explain the depth of MC’s brother’s hatred. Also, the powers of the rogue system were very unclear. There was some implication that maybe it had a halo effect that helped MC’s brother build a harem, but that was never stated outright. Also, I don’t understand the rogue system’s motive for causing trouble at all.

its cute. I like the concept of MC coming back to his original world, and that people from his small worlds are also in his original world. I really like the side characters, I LOVE them even. the story is good, I like that MC steps up to his problems in his original life and it's pretty much just a good face slapping and revenge novel with cliche romance (remember, only at ch 26).

zhao jing is my favorite, I really want to see his arc actually written out. his character is very nice and he touches me with the way everyone except for himself and MC would think his lover is fake of they knew about his coma situation. he even made me a bit sentimental, and it was funny when he glazed over how he thought he was fighting with MC for his lover at first, and even considers MC his father lwk (1) with wen xu and ml. he's very funny. wen xu is good too, it was funny when he called MC his little brother and killed the netizens. f*ck, theyre all funny and nice and I like both of them, but at ch 26, those 2 are really the only 2/3 other world characters I know. I also like liang hong, owner of the slanderous news studio, even though his screentime is short, it showed a good side of him.

qi huayu. imma be fr I dont fw the male lead like that. tbh its so sudden his arrival and like he just doesnt fit in w the novel like that, there are just scenes of him and MC and theyre just so... he just caught me so offguard w the possessiveness n shit. would rather wen xu be the male lead, would REALLY really REEEEEALLLLY want wen xu to be the ml.

(1) ML here thinks it wouldnt be bad for zhao jing to call him father... get out bruh

honestly this novel isnt all that (rating it 5 stars to bring the rates upupup) but its cute to pass time. im reviewing this to come back if I feel like it. solid 4. <<less

It wasn't a bad way to waste time, but I can't help to think that this novel has too much wasted potential.

It's a very interesting idea and I love that not all his past acquaintances are madly in love with the MC. It felt nice for the MC to just have friends. The ML left a lot to be desired as other reviews have pointed out.

7 year old twin gets a rogue system that is using him to get power to hide from the main system as it was supposed to be recycled. The rogue system insights the twin to become horrible and gives him some benefits which aren't laid out, but can be deferred throughout the story.

Think this could have been. A really good story if the author fleshed it out more, tied up the loose ends and changed the ML.

Translation was great, thank you translator and editors. I MTLd the last 5 chapters or so which was easily understandable. Will probably not read again <<less

MC went world-hopping and came back to his original life with the skills and companions from those worlds.

I MTL'd some of the future chaps and I did not expect the villain twin brother Xie Ling to have a system of his own. Kinda pitied him really, felt like he got brainwashed (as a child) into being a villain by the system.

This felt like it could had been fleshed out more, to have more depth... But as it stands the MC had it very smooth, he never encountered any noteworthy obstacle in his 'revenge'. The ML was never dwelled into, so I couldn't figure out just why he's head over heels for MC, he just was.

I wished it would expand more on the side characters. Like, did ZJ manage to find his lover?

It feels a shame to give up so close to the end, but I can't stand the illogic. The main characters in this short story are a bit pretentious, selfish, and condescending. Everything they say is right, anyone who slightly wrongs them are evil villains that need heavy retribution. But if you look at what the other person did (other than the brother I guess), no one really did anything worthy of life-ruining revenge. The people in this story are clearly and unrealistically divided into good and bad people.

I enjoyed... more>> the other returned transmigrated characters, though they added to the illogic and ridiculousness of the whole story. How are there so many wealthy powerful people's children that go brain dead? Maybe there's some interesting conspiracy that explains this at the end, but with the current level of story telling sophistication, I doubt it. If you can turn off your brain and buy into the protagonists' self centered logic, this story is fine. Also, maybe I'm a prude, but I found the name calling and slurs in this story very distasteful. Reflecting the worst of society's worst possible responses. Who in the world goes on line and just randomly starts cursing at people they don't know? Mostly bots as far as I'm concerned. And this is where the twisted logic of the book comes in - it's retribution time when netzines do it to the protagonist but when they start cursing the slew of villains, it's justice. I'm so tired and disgusted. <<less

The story is fast paced and enjoyable with a bunch of face slapping. Very minimal romance

I did enjoy the fact that everyone related to MC's past lives outside of ML were all friends or family. It was nice not seeing a bunch of people competing for MC hand in marriage but vibing together over a very odd shared experience.

The story was fluffy, however it's not a re-read material.
