In the entertainment industry, the young master lures his little sweetheart.

Ling Zhuo is a popular idol, handsome and talented. He had a smooth journey from debuting in a talent show to becoming a rising star. Everything was going well until his manager pushed him into a film crew for his first acting role, where he encountered the young master Lu Chixie.

The young master aggressively approached him, snatching Cupid’s arrow between Ling Zhuo and another guy, step by step drawing Ling Zhuo into his own territory, then trapping him within it.

Ok so I started this novel because I really love yandre ML and it didnt disappointed me.

The story was kinda boring. I mean the summary told everything ab it and u wouldnt see more plot in it.

at first MC has crush on his capitan and tried to confess to him but his capitan was a loser and afraid of the consequences so he didnt accept it and this was the point that ML used it to enter Mc's private space and heart.

If u are here for a mild drama genre that most of it is ab love life of protagonist this is for u.

MC is kinda silly and the type of person that close his eyes on the bad actions of ppl just because he loves them (i hate this type btw) but fortunatly our ML didnt let others suck Mc's blood so much and make them seprate from MC by any mean.

ML on the other hand is really jealous person. He is the type of man that would control every thing in his partner life and if MC didnt accept it we would see many dogs blood drama in this novel although I dont like some of ML actions and they are really beyond the limit but I know the tages from the first and Mc's behavior for his actions doesnt have deterrence in it

I went ahead and fixed up the tags a bit as the protagonist does not fall first and they aren't technically each others first loves- MC is actually annoyed with ML and secretly in love with his group member at first. No worries though, as that relationship doesn't actually go anywhere. MC does also refer to ML as his first love in the extras which I found very cute:

The person I love also loves me, without any doubt. Why can't I think you are my first love?" Ling Zhuo whispered softly. He really believed what he said. Maybe everyone has a different definition of first love, but his first love really started from the moment he confirmed his love for the person next to him.

My overall feeling from reading this is that it's a fairly easy read, and there's not much to the plot beyond what's described in the summary. Like some of this author's other works, the romance here is a bit questionable in terms of morality, and characters can shift their feelings quite abruptly, going from annoyed to suddenly in love, seemingly randomly. I'm still trying to decide how I feel about it.

The ML in this novel is opportunistic and does a lot of scheming behind the scenes to create more opportunities for himself to snatch up the MC. His methods are interesting though, as rather than destroying those in his way as other yandere characters might, he more so gives the other characters opportunities to leave (and thus betray MC), which they can't help but take. He operates a lot on the idea that people can't resist power and few relationships can survive the test of being offered potential money and success.

ML does kiss MC a few times (3 to be exact) without his consent before they start dating, but doesn't go too far. He's pretty measured in his approach as he seems to understand there are certain boundaries that can't be crossed. I will say though, if you're not keen on a very persistent and obsessive love interest, this ML will probably not be your type. He is quite forceful with his physical affection even after they start dating, and gets jealous extremely easily.

I did however like how ML was able to support and bring out the sides of MC that had been suppressed to be the perfect idol. MC is the type of person who just goes along with the whims of others, so he does kind of need someone like ML to guide him and push back against those that want to take advantage of him. While ML may be a possessive yandere, he does truly want MC to flourish and be happy.

MC does eventually fall for ML despite his initial reservations, and he fully accepts ML's possessive side as just part of the boyfriend package. Their relationship honestly is pretty amusing to me, with MC even warning others to back off because his boyfriend is too jealous and he doesn't want to deal with the aftermath lol.

Definitely not the healthiest relationship- be prepared for some toxic behavior, but MC at the very least does call out ML when he goes too far. The extras are pretty cute though, and their relationship definitely settles a lot from how they were like in the main story.

On MC's secret love/group captain:

he has liked MC back for a while, but chooses to ignore MC's feelings in favor of the group's and his own career. MC asks him to hang out one night and plans to confess, but the captain cancels their plans, probably knowing what MC wants to do. After this moment, MC decides to try and let go of his feelings for his first love, and ML immediately takes his chance on starting their relationship.

I feel like it's about Stockholm syndrome.

After being kissed by force and being forced to do things you don't want, I think the author calls love as getting used to it. I really don't like it when novels with a lot of s*xual ab*se attribute the process of falling in love to getting used to the s*xual ab*se and not feeling as 'disgusting' or 'bad' as much as the first time. And frankly, although things are not more exaggerated than other novels, this is still bothers me. And initially I... more>> had high hopes for the MC and ML duo. Depending on the way the story was written, if these things at the beginning could have been discarded it could be better.

We don't always view fictional worlds as real, and there's no obligation that we have to like the things we like in the fictional world in real life. But I still don't like seeing things in novels that I wouldn't like in real life. This is my opinion. Frankly, such a male lead bothers and irritates me. If I met such a person in real life, the first thing I would do would be to call the police, a mental hospital, or a psychologist.

To summarize, ML uses Mc's heartbreak for himself, while he says 'he loves' MC, ML also causes a rift between he and his friends in their group, and in the same way, ML constantly causes the failure of what MC has been dreaming of for many years. It bothered me a lot to read about ML constantly messing around with Mc's career and friends, pitting them against each other, and then standing next to MC and comforting him while he was upset. Even though ML has done everything, MC begins to 'relax' and 'get used' to him because ML is always with him. The author calls this love, but I honestly don't know what it is.

It doesn't matter how much he obsess over MC, but for me the most important thing about ML is that he doesn't harm MC. This is not just physically but also emotionally. I've read a lot of dark romances before, and since it's fictional, I can tolerate obsession and yandere Ml's to a certain extent, but it disgusts me that ML goes behind Mc's back and ruins his dreams and friendships or something else.

Still, I can say that it is better than many red flag and sick ML novels. Generally, you need to read the tags of such books first and start. If there is something that might bother you, it is better not to read it at first. Because not everyone's preferences and capacity to handle characters sickness (over jealousy, doing sth behind the scenes, obsession...) are the same. There's a difference between reading this in a novel with fluffy tags and reading it in a novel with these tags. You should start by knowing that these will happen in the first place and if you prefer. So in short, I started this knowing that I would read a Yandere Ml, even though Ml's behavior bothered me. And even though I don't like Ml, I can say that his character is not as exaggerated as Ml's in other novels. Of course, this depends on how much you can handle.

On the other hand, although MC is not an extremely different character, he can still think and has his own emotions, and at least in the first episodes, he slapped and punched Ml.

Even though I don't prefer such Mls in terms of story, I liked the process of the story. A novel that can be easily read and understood. It's also gripping. I actually still have mixed feelings about this story. Even though I don't like ML and MC that much, the book keeps me reading. I'm also curious to see how things will develop. So, even though there are things that bother me, they are not extreme enough to make me put the novel down.

And I like Ml's character didn't further exaggerated in later episodes. Because in stories like this, they usually seem good, but they actually start to get worse with each episode. Ml's behavior in this regard is already evident from the beginning. That's why I liked how he handled his relationship with MC towards the end of the story. It was a nice character development for him to start doing some things differently and for him to hold back or at least try to do things MC didn't want to do. <<less

Halfway in, and I've lost count on how many times MC gets absentminded or lost in a thought or in a daze, it seems it is mentioned in almost every chapter. If not for plot armour, it would be quite baffling that he has managed to live upto his age with no surrounding awareness and without getting into accidents with his constant state of being dazed. I'm not bored with the novel, but it kinda feels like it's being written by a high schooler or someone who is experimenting with... more>> their writing skills. <<less
