Jeong Jiheon was once a promising swimmer, but retired early due to an injury and is now working diligently at a sports agency. Currently, the greatest interest in the sports market is none other than Kwon Jaekyoung, and numerous agencies are fighting fiercely behind the scenes to scout him.

In the meantime, Jiheon is ordered by his boss to somehow arrange a meeting with Jaekyoung, and he miraculously succeeds thanks to their insignificant and brief relationship of going to the same swimming center 10 years ago.

However, when they agree to meet for the first time in a long while, Kwon Jaekyoung is not interested in the terms of the contract. He just suddenly asks about Jiheon’s traits….

A good read. This probably one of the good Korean translated novels I have read so far. The plot and the characters are decent. I really like the MC (I don't get why some of y'all are hating on him) he is such a sweet and mature guy for me.

I also like how the author portrayed the emotions of the characters and their development. Maybe the first few chapters can be boring, but trust me it will get better and I really like pacing and the slowwwwww burn romance on... more>> this one. Ngl, they got me wanting for more.

Thank you, author-nim and kudos to the translators. They did a wonderful job translating this novel. Looking forward for more updates! <<less

DASH is probably one of the best-written BLs out there. It was honestly so refreshing to see a completely consented relationship in an omegaverse where the characters have not only depth but also portray real-life problems and mental issues. I am grateful to the translator for picking out such a masterpiece and translating it exceptionally well. It has good romance, a great depiction of the underbelly of the sports industry, and the smut is just *chefs kiss* amazing.

I don't know if the uploaded/translator will see this, but in the case they do, I just wanted to comment on your note in chapter 170.

I want to let you know that you shouldn't be ashamed of your translation skills whatsoever, as I think you are doing the story more than enough justice with your work. Although I can't attest to the original novel's depth in it's original language, as someone who looks forward to your uploads of this novel every night I can definitely say the work you do... more>> is amazing. I'm sorry there are people who think you don't do a "perfect" job of translating, and that their juvenile insults have affected you. Please know that there are people who genuinely appreciate your effort, even if you are only translating for your own interest in the story. I wholeheartedly claim my spot as one of those people, and thank you so, so much for what you do. Those who insult you for your hard work can suck an alpha sized d*ck cuz all they spout is hot piss. Anyways, please don't let their words get you down, and again, thank you for doing what you do.

Edit: I think I found the review you mentioned in the note, and they have me dyingggg 💀💀💀💀. Upon reading it, they are most definitely either a child or a chronically online individual, as most of the criticisms are VERY opinion based and are NOT AT ALL shared by most who read your translation. You keep doing what you're doing, whether that be being an awesome translator or whatever else you want, because with comments like that I wouldn't be surprised if you decided not to translate novels for free any longer 😂. Although this is coming from a "bot with no reading history, " I am a most thankful bot for your uploads :) <<less

I enjoyed this novel a lot the characters are all well-written, as well as their depths and backstories. This ML was top-notch; he has a realistic personality as well as a unique setting. His character development throughout the story is also realistic, and this novel is not full of pure smut the whole time, there is a balance of depth and maturity throughout the plot. I find the dynamics between the characters interesting as well as the amazing detail given to swimming as a sport in this novel. Every detail... more>> is accurately explained as well.

I do find one thing irritating: the idea of the MC deciding to give up so easily every single time he is faced with an issue. He has a very self-preserving instinct that makes itself known throughout the story, which could be irritating to the viewers who believe in this extreme idea of prioritising others before yourself, but I find this aspect of him to be realistic and human. His emotions are raw, and his reactions are even more precise and spot-on for a person with his background. The MC has his conflict, which he resolves, and his insecurities all align with the basis of the story and the entire experience and trauma that he had faced.

The ML is interesting, similar to the typical 'I had a crush on you when I was younger' trope however, it is executed differently. The ML, despite being enthralled with the MC, is instead often shown to be more hurt by him and his selfish ways. This portrayal of toxicity and realism in relationships, especially those that have a partner who has gone through trauma, shined a light on something much more unique and valuable than you would find in other stories with overbearing MLs and compliant MCs. The method the author used to represent their unstable dynamic that had an equilibrium of conflict and resolution added more to storytelling and narrative rather than just a quick read to satiate the viewer's imagination. Talking quickly about the ML and his obsession, there is a focus on the idea of the ML's childhood interaction with the MC. It can get annoying fast when that is the only driving force for the ML to interact with the MC, but soon, when the memory gets addressed, the ML's love and affection seem to run deeper than just an obsessive memory he had of the MC. The ML reaches acmes throughout the novel where he is demanding and selfish as well, but this all is portrayed as almost a way for him to take out his frustration and the MC's unwillingness to change.

The book touches on a lot of psychology; it focuses on issues of past assumptions and impressions that soon change with realisation that drags on for a bit but reaches an acme where there is almost this serene resolution that brings peace to the reader. The book has great writing, vocabulary, emotions, thoughts, descriptions, and even actions are all written with great detail that does not hinder the imagination of the reader. Besides being an emotional slow burn, the novel is still a banger and a solid one at that.

Just quickly touching on one more topic. The MC's past of having dated people that he didn't even have feelings for sounds very whorish almost. However, this is realistic; the MC has reasoned why he is unable to reject people. He also wants to look at his emotional capabilities, and he tries to change throughout the story and understand the possibility of sharing a deep connection. Despite his selfish ways of looking for it, this is once again humane and that too at an extreme point. Humans are creatures of self-love and curiosity, something that drives us beyond the emotions of empathy or guilt. We are driven by the aspects of 'first me', so it makes sense to a certain point why the MC did what he did. He did not physically harm them, but there was a sense of manipulative tactics he had used. This, in my opinion, sets him further apart from other MCs who either follow the trope of 'cold and hostile' or 'kind and overtly fragile'. This MC had emotionally fragile moments, yet he also had his hostility when his traumas were addressed. He also was cold when he needed to be and was warm to the people he trusted. He never stuck to one fixed personality, and that showed his character flexibility. MC is clever throughout the story, adapting to situations related to social responses, and he also has an amusing inner monologue. In my opinion, this novel was outstanding and covered a lot of character development and depth; this changed my opinion on Yaoi novels these days, all hyper focus only on smut. <<less

All I could say is that I thoroughly enjoyed this novel more than I expected. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews and pushed through.

Is it perfect? Nope not at all, but is it worth reading? HELL YEAH!

Jaekyung lowkey pissed me off lmao, but he ended up redeeming himself, so overall, everything was good. I love his devotion to Jiheon, although, he can be pushy (imo), Jaekyung matured a lot! Kudos to you, my guy.

As for Jiheon, loved him. He’s cool and mature, I’d end up falling for... more>> him too tbh. The way some reviews painted him just made me go??? He wasn’t the s*umbag they painted him to be. I do acknowledge that he did lead people on, but it’s not like he didn’t try to be the best boyfriend. The way he operated reminded me a bit of Seven Days (the ML would go out with whomever asks him out and they only last for a week at most). As for me, it’s okay that he slept around before, like nothing’s wrong with that. I’m glad he pulls people LMAO. Dw babygirl, Jaekyung and I got your back.

The romance between Jaekyung and Jiheon didn’t start off the best, but gods, they’re so sweet I love them to death. The way Jaekyung just wants to show off his hyung so bad, I get him. Love the way they show affection to each other :’)) I’m really glad I read this novel!!!

The extras, oh the extras, I can’t wait to read more :’))

I’M VERY HYPED FOR THE MANHWA THAT’S COMING OUT AAAAAAAAA

Thank you to the author for writing this wonderful novel. Thank you to the translator for picking DASH up and sharing it with us!

It's extremely well written and well translated.

It's quite slow burn, but the pace is just right, feels better than watching a movie.

There are some quite explicit s*x scene, but what I loved most was the interaction between the MC and ML

Love everything from beginning to end - what a journey! I really enjoyed the ups and downs of the story, and the dynamics of KJ and JJ is so great, and I certainly learned a thing or two about competitive swimming. I couldn’t put this novel down and finished it in just 2days! Certainly look forward to the side stories!! Thank you so much for writing such an excellent story.

Lastly, I also wanted to thank the translator for beautifully translating the work!

First of all I want to thank the translator for being so amazing it's must have been hard posting everyday thank you

As for the story it's soo good it's so good I never expected this much of plot from a omegaverse but the author nailed it like u can see how much research went through this novel and I really love the plot most definitely the chip part in this omegaverse which most of the omegaverses take advantage of the heat process but this one made it seem omega are... more>> humans before their secondary gender which is very rare to see

As for the main leads sometimes they seem childish but they're good people

Especially jaekyung I laughed so hard with his comical timing

Definitely read this novel <<less

Translation is amazing, all the hats off to the translator, just A+++ work. I would've stopped reading ages ago if not for how good they are (to be honest, I'm only scoring this high because it's so well-written.)

I loved this, 5 stars--at least until ch50-ish. I was super invested in the slow burn, thought the ML was socially awkward but still pretty green flag, and was cool with the cliche coerciveness of the beginning because it mostly seemed harmless and ended up being pretty sweet. It led me to... more>> believe we were getting a love story.

But this takes a sharp right turn. I'm keeping it vague to avoid spoilers, but the relationship ends up being extremely coercive and manipulative. Normally I love a ML's POV showing how in love he is, but this one was scarily obsessive. It honestly felt like I was reading about the origins of a serial killer in a horror novel. And once the relationship... "develops" (with emotional blackmail)... ML becomes disgustingly childish. Truly an insufferably petulant brat. It's completely devolved into your cliche yandere setup, where we're just romanticizing an incredibly abusive relationship and you're supposed to find the codependent one "falling in love" (i.e. accepting forever being trapped with their ab*ser) sweet, only the ML is not a master manipulator, he's a screaming toddler with a hair trigger that MC is constantly trying to pacify. I was trying to power through, thinking it would get better, but it just gets worse...

I like yandere normally, but I feel kind of blind-sighted by it in this since it doesn't match the initial tone of the series. And I like a charming yandere, not one acting like a spoiled child. It even has side characters commenting on how MC acts more doting to him than a mother would. Yikes. And MC's "falling in love" seems to largely stem from him finding it cute how child-like ML is (ew? The age gap between 21 and 27 can be okay, but not like this...) And I guess this is personal taste, but a lot of the s*x scenes are uncomfortably rough imo, and not in a hot way. So many adjectives and verbs that I associate with violence. A lot of the graphic descriptions make me queasy enough that I have to skim through the scene as quickly as possible (and I read plenty of ABO and guideverse so I think I have a fairly high tolerance for graphic smut.) <<less

First thing first, a huge thank you for the translator for translating this story in such a great job and still keeping the links active... especially since korean law is rather strict and unfortunately I've seen many of my fave korean bls being translated and then deleted due to copyright issue in these past two years alone. So truly, thank you for keeping this story up. I hope you'll still maintain the translation as is especially since manhwa serialization has started and more international fans might be curious about this... more>> story.

As for the rather low rating... in fact, I feel rather, complicated about this story. Though, for now as I have finished main story (couldn't finish the extra), I'm leaning towards this being not that good of a story. Of course, this is my own personal opinion on this story so do take it with a grain of salt.

Let's list out the good things from this novel first:

1. I like the MC. Being a social butterfly and just typical corporate worker you could relate to (like him having opinions on certain matter about work and trying to push said opinions forward but ends up agreeing with the company... like for us working adults, isn't this our reality as well?).

Unlike certain other commenter below, I don't think MC as fickle, nor do I think he's a sl*t and a s*umbag for "sleeping around" in early chapters and "toying" with other people's feelings. I don't hold such traditional mindset that having one night stands and sleeping around equals to being a s*umbag because s*xual need is that.... a need. It's okay for two consenting adults to engage in s*xual intercouse as long as there's consent.

I find MC's view on relationship, pregnancy and marriage to be quite normal and in fact, realistic. I really understand where MC is coming from because after so many failed relationships... you're bound to think the way MC did. I felt the way he was unsure about what he was feeling towards ML to be frustrating, it's actually very normal to think the way MC did due to the many years MC hasn't had another relationship, his previously failed relationship and just him never really tasting a "real" love in general. (Yes I do think ML is a bit pushy towards MC in this regard, I'll explain more later).

I personally think MC is very composed, mature and just felt like how a real person operate in the real world. He's good.

2. In most omegaverse, atleast the ones that I've read in the past 10 years, the alpha almost always ends up as a huge jerk brute forcing his way through their omega (rape, in case you're wondering. I'm fine with it in fiction personally, but it gets to a point)... in fact, I've only found one other omegaverse with very gentle alpha so far. Credits where its due ig, atleast jaekyoung (ML) does treat MC gently most of the time, and especially post chapter 135-ish.

Spoiler

also how ML really did take all preventive measures of possible pregnancy with all his might. And later on repeatedly asking if MC is okay with the pregnancy and childbirth before feeling happy about it

[collapse]

As to other points about ML, I'll explain later below.

3. Unlike your typical omegaverse, I like the fact that in this novel it's a functioning omegaverse world where it's rude to ask the other person's traits and no way of telling whether someone is an alpha/beta/omega unless they told you themselves. I love the fact that the omega in this world could blend in with society and work normally like other secondary traits (really, I've had so many omegaverse where its practically just a shitty world for the omega to live in so kudos to that). I personally think the world building is strong on this one, though in the last few chapters, the doctor does seem to speak in a bit of weird manner for me.

4. It started off strong. Like super cute. I like the initial direction of where it was going until a certain chapter that made me change my mind. Hence why I was so angry and sad coming up to this chapter because it really was that good, initially.

And now let's delve onto the parts that makes me disappointed in the story that I personally just couldn't ignore despite the story starting off so... so good for me.

So, to start things off, I really, personally think that there is a non consensual, or atleast dubcon element in this story. It started off so, so good. I really didn't mind ML being "pushy" with MC at first, because as MC thought, it really was cute. And initially, I did think it was just the right push from ML to get MC out of his shell. At first, initially.

Until the first turning point, or should I say, the first communication breakdown happened and their s*x relationship starting off as coercive, AT BEST. Because MC really did care for ML and his career beyond ML's comprehension of MC but ML somehow just.... wouldn't get it, accusing this and that about MC and then them "having s*x" despite MC's initial rejections of engaging in any such relationship with ML due to their work nature.

Spoiler

Particularly, I'm talking about chapter 63 (or atleast around this chapter) where ML's career was on the verge of breaking after achieving a grand slam.... that MC cried so hard inside the car to the point of not being able to meet ML (despite him already in ML's neighbourhood area), until MC calmed down. Like, being a former swimmer himself who's now watching ML and his swimming 24/7, he understood best just how hard ML had worked for the past 10 years... the many medals that ML had brought home, only for it to nearly gone down the drain due to the cheap tricks of the industry. Like I really did get his frustration

But the way ML was like, "I don't care, don't need" and stubbornly refused to have a proper conversation with MC, accusing MC of not caring about ML as a person, only caring about his medals, achievements, future ads deals, etc.... and then had the audacity of (what I personally call) threatening MC that either MC let ML retired so ML could chase MC properly, or ML postpone his retirement and join next year's olympic, on the clause of MC having s*x with ML. Really, as a normal worker in a company, what choice did MC even have with the two "options" ML suggested despite MC repeatedly rejecting ML in engaging in any sort of relationship with ML?

Like, this is workplace s*xual harrassment.

[collapse]

And no, I'm not one of those people that got butthurt with r*pe or non con elements in fiction, I think it's good for fiction to be as dark as possible. Good writing can emerge even in dark fiction.

What I'm questioning here is the writing. Because prior to this chapter, as far as my understanding goes, as straightforward and pushy as ML was, if MC truly did not want it, then ML really wouldn't do it. I know that chapter should be the first turning point in their relationship.... But I feel that the author could've done it in a way that wouldn't be a dubious consent.

Like the author seems to leave a veeeryyyy subtle hints of MC wanting to have s*x with ML and then after this chapter, aka their first time of having s*x, MC really did enjoy it. But MC also verbally stated repeatedly prior to this particular chapter that he didn't wish to engage in any sort of relationship with ML while they are still directly involved with each other for work.

Atleast to me, it's very loud and clear that ML is selfish in love and didn't even once try to understand MC during this scene, insisting on his way, that "10 years" of one sided crush is seemingly enough reason for ML to act this unreasonable. Was it really, truly love when you don't even try to understand where your love was coming from???

Like MC was literally in so much despair before having to confront ML about his issue in this chapter... and yet that's how ML acted. And MC even had to consoled ML about it during foreplay to lift up ML's mood. I felt really sad that this matter of MC
Spoiler

crying in the car over ML's years of hard work nearly going down the drain

[collapse]
was never addressed, even though I felt that at this point of the story, this was the most sincere MC had been about ML and his matter.

It was so bad to me that I just wanted to stop reading but unfortunately, I'm craving for something to read and I do like MC too much at this point to stop.

So I continued reading. Then ML disappointed me with another, rather miniscule, thing.

Not sure if it's spoiler but I'll put it under the spoiler tag just in case, so I could be as specific as possible.

Spoiler

It was around chapter 93 or so when ML told MC to tell the fencer athlete to back off by saying that MC has a boyfriend, then MC refuting that ML is not his boyfriend... ML said that he didnt say so, it's just so that fencer would back off (like imaginary boyfriend sumn like that). And then ML backtracking, saying that he's so happy that MC called ML his boyfriend (in front of the fencer).

[collapse]

It's rather a miniscule thing as I said, but by this point my perception of ML is already skewed so there is that too.

Though, I'll have to say, I do like the way ML took his passion in swimming seriously... I completely agreed with him that those people doing underhanded methods shouldn't stay in the water at all, stuff like that. And I do like the way he kept checking on MC about his pregnancy and how he took it upon himself to take care of the baby while insisting MC should just take a rest, like he understood completely how MC had suffered during the pregnancy and how it must've been hard for him so now it's his turn to take care of the child, something like that.

By around chapter 135 ish I was rather questioning the author's writing style rather than ML's behaviour because pre chapter 63 the author was doing such a great job of "show, don't tell" but later on I do agree that it leans more towards "tell, don't show."

For example, how MC's view on marriage was firm but ML kept pushing for it that MC agreed. Because it's been established that MC is way too lenient towards ML since the beginning... what I don't like here, and why I think it's more of "tell, don't show", is the fact that ML convinced him completely by words.... as "gentle" as ML had been towards MC, it was still the first time they sat down and had proper talk about marriage. But the author, instead of making MC be convinced by ML's behaviour, instead made the MC "agreed" solely by his words..... and later on, pregnancy. Like why make MC hesitate about his years long view of marriage anymore when he's already pregnant with the baby of his lover, right?

At worst, I would say that this is bad writing (ONLY for me, okay) speaking despite the world building and other matters making sense and convincing.

I would have rated this lower but I did like the MC and how even now it's still quite rare for an alpha/omega relationship in omegaverse to have a caring alpha despite their s*xual relationship starting as.... dubious consent, at best.

Of course, this is just my personal opinion on this story and don't let me stop you from reading. Some might enjoy it, some might not. And As far as I'm aware Dash is quite popular too in Korea (I bought dasim audio drama last year or around the end of 2023 I think and for atleast six months or so... maybe even a whole year, Dash audio drama never really left the top 3 audio drama in ACO, so there is that).

Thank you once again for the translator for sharing this story you've done such a great work💘 <<less

I'm not the type to rate the novels that I read in NU too much because I read a lot, but this was one those books that needs to be praised in all aspects.

First of all, the main reason I deeply appreciated and love this was mostly due to the translation and the author's writing style. It didn't feel clunky and the immersion of both writer and translator synergized very well. Explanations were done amazingly and the points where foreigners may not understand the phrase or term were... more>> localized.

To my actual review of the novel:

All of the aspects I liked in this story were just 100/10. Plot was great, with a strong emotional pull that made you feel both immersed and addicted to their universe.

The progression from the beginning of the story flowing to the climax and the arcs were well paced. It didn't feel too rushed and clear timeline made it feel both amazing at tension building but also great for realizing the slow turning point for the characters.

Speaking of which, the characters were my favorite so far. I love him distinctive they became as the story fleshed out and as we get the know them beyond the surface we were inroduced to. The relationship dynamic, the get together and the climax were all so fitting. It didnt feel like a story, despite the elements, felt like I was viewing an autobiography in real time.

Safe to say, this is my favorite novel in this genre and I can't wait to discover more!! <<less

I loved this novel bec of the premise, characters and writing. I really like how their relationship progressed in this story. Both main characters are flawed but in the end it all goes back to their feelings for each other. I also like how the swimming world was included in the narrative without being too technical or boring or dry. There was only one thing I am dissatisfied with
Spoiler

the imprinting effect was not fully discussed or mentioned more and as how it could affect their relationship, but maybe it's not the point of the novel bec it's established as JK feelings were strong regardless of imprinting or not.

Please add me to the list of commenters who are commenting in response to that two star essay review hating this story. I'm not a bot nor do I have literally ANY vested interest in if a BL webnovel is highly rated or not on this site..

I just really enjoyed this story and think that review completely mischaracterizes the characters and the plot. My first response is I do agree with parts of your review, this story isn't PERFECT GOD TIER. Its very clearly a cliche filled sports BL, childhood... more>> acquaintances to lovers omegaverse etc like its not doing anything groundbreaking here, and yeah it def drags a bit at parts. It also does do the thing novels like this do a lot, where everyone besides the main characters are bereft of any personality.

But what I enjoyed about the story the most is how flawed both MCs are, Jiheon and Jaekyung both, which seems to be the main issue with that reviewer and honestly it leaves me gobsmacked. If you like reading about bottoms who are Mary Sues, perfect and angelic 100% of the time, then yes, avoid this story I guess. If you like reading romances where characters have trauma that reflects in their relationships in realistic ways but they overcome it to find love, then you might really enjoy giving this one a try. Both characters make mistakes, but none of them are irredeemable. And I really enjoyed their banter which to me was eloquently written/translated and really funny at parts. <<less

To Bleak Ruby, our wonderful translator,

Thank you so much for translating this novel for us. I agree with what you wrote; this story is phenomenal. Without you, many of us wouldn’t be able to read and experience this novel. Please ignore those who have made rude remarks towards you. Dash is one of my favorite novels I’ve read on this site. It’s only possible because you translate them for us, a whole chapter a day at that! Frankly, you spoil us! I eagerly await the next chapter.

To those who... more>> haven’t read this yet, please save yourself the 30 minutes of debating whether you should start and just dive right in. It’s a slow burn, but it is well worth the wait in my opinion. The plot, character development, and world building are all exceptional. <<less

This is my first time writing a review! It might be short (?)

Previously I would like to thank Bleak Ruby as the translator of the novel 'DASH'

I really like the storyline, it's like refreshing. When I was reading a heavy novel I read this novel. It felt very fresh and exciting, I initially knew DASH from ACO then I started Searching for the novel and found it.

When they were in the scene in the pool or swimming I felt like I was falling into the water like when Jaekyoung... more>> and Jiheon were swimming.

I really love novels like this, thank you author IJEN, because you made me fall into your story so much. I love them so much. I love Jaekyoung, Jiheon, Jin, and Seon. (Honestly since I read the novel I know a lot of things like what an athlete is, swimming competition, chp, etc. And when I read the side story I wanted to have children and I previously intended to be childfree but it didn't happen, I will love my child as Jaekyung and Jiheon love their child.)

— I finished the Dash novel from chapter 30 to the end in one month, March (03) 27th 05.26 2025 am the last time it was written. <<less

Cliche but so satisfying.

Let me preface by saying it’s one of the first few Korean BL novels I’ve read, most of my experience for KR is in manhwa. And it does read very much like a BL manhwa in text format. That said, other than the great smut, the plot was developed just enough to become emotionally invested and with enough twists that the conflict resolutions and face slapping is satisfying. Kind of like those guilty pleasure stereotype stories where you know what would happen but you read anyway and... more>> it indeed scratches that itch.

MC is a somewhat promiscuous ‘lazy’ person who has trouble committing to things because of the fear of failure stemming from his huge success at an early age. Something that I could resonate with and made for great interactions with his career and the ML, and we got to see his growth throughout the novel.

ML is a big child child-like person who has a big dk bursts of maturity and brilliance who somehow imprinted (mentally) and fell for MC at a young age. Despite his apparent immaturity and social ineptness, it’s lovely to see how he supported MC and was the catalyst for a lot of MC’s growth. The OP swimming skills and confidence was also very attractive.

They’re really cute together, and I can imagine the manhwa for this being great.

Enjoyed it and would read it again if looking for something light with good smut. <<less

This has some good moments, but overall once I got to the halfway mark I was just becoming more and more agitated. This didn’t need to be nearly as long as it was. The characters all became extremely unlikable and I found myself beginning to skim just to finish it.

Jae kyung is literally just a giant man baby with attitude problem and a nasty habits of throwing f*cking tantrums whenever things don’t go his way. The MC has zero backbone and lets himself be walked all over by literally everyone... more>> and then tries to justify it in the most obnoxious ways possible.

They both began to irritate the hell out of me and it eventually just turned into the most repetitive back and forth scenarios. It was more egregious than AFTER in the repetitive cycles of Jaekyung wanting something, Jiheon weakly protesting, but then giving in because jaekyung had the mentality of a spoiled 5 year old. I didn’t find them cute and endearing by chapter 85, I just found them irritating and a waste of time. I’m mad because this story has so much promise but the relationship (if you can even call it that), is just so weak and ANNOYING that it clouded almost all the good aspects of the story. <<less

 1. Before I started reading I went through all the reviews. My advice is ignore the negative reviews like I did and dive right in.
 2. The translator is not giving herself credit enough, the translation is so good 👍 and well put together, take all your flowers 🌹🌺
 3. I love love Jaekyeong and jiheon sure their start was a bit rocky at first considering their age difference and work relationship but it was just so perfect as the story progresses you'll love these two, some of my favourite couples in a bl.
Over all... more>> I highly recommend this novel it's a 10/10 for me. <<less
