Jo Jihyun receives a letter one day, but the moment he sees the opening line “Dear, George,” he immediately throws it away. However, when he runs into his senior (Kang Seokwon), the subject of an urban legend-like rumor, who asks if he has read the letter, Jihyun freezes. Feeling guilty for discarding the letter, he agrees to have a meal with his senior and gradually becomes drawn to his kindness.

Jihyun, who had been struggling to survive between an abusive mother with a mental illness and a father who stood by and did nothing, finds solace and support in Kang Seokwon, who holds him up with all his heart. However, as Jihyun gets caught up in a certain incident, Kang Seokwon is severely injured while trying to save him. Fearing that Seokwon will be unhappy if he stays, Jihyun flees to study abroad in the United States, as if escaping.

Seven years later, Jihyun returns to Korea and coincidentally meets Kang Seokwon, who is now delivering pizza. However, Seokwon mistakenly believes that Jihyun is getting married.

On the day when an asteroid narrowly passes by Earth and a meteor shower falls, Seokwon, who has been searching for Jihyun for six years, tells him that the person he has been looking for no longer exists and warns him never to show up in his life again, disappearing.

Jihyun, chasing after Seokwon, regrets his choice that ruined Seokwon’s life. While watching the countless stars and the large moon, Jihyun wishes that if he could go back to that day, he could restore Seokwon’s life and make it whole again—before losing consciousness.

When he wakes up again, he is back at the age of 18, and Seokwon doesn’t yet know him. Jihyun struggles to prevent the mistakes of the past from repeating, but as if by fate, the two of them continue to be intertwined, and the events from before begin to unfold again…

This is so beautifully well written, translated and characterized. It's steeped in a soft romance with slightly chipped characters. The MC is being held together by threads, he's the definition of a weak protagonist but not in the useless way, he's weak because he's always scared. His anxiety and fear block the words coming from his mouth. It's painful to be honest, his panic and fear elicits sympathy and anger simultaneously. He lies to himself and lies to everyone else on the things that matter. He's scared so he keeps... more>> himself from getting closer. The back and forth between the past and present set up the mystery and tension spectacularly. We see his slow sprouting relationship with the ML in the past and the glimpses of the present, let us know it was all burned to ash. The sweet slow growing flower was crushed, but how? Why? The pain of the present makes even the softer parts feel wistful. There's a weight to these emotions, a weight to the narrative, that's why I find the regression story line which is implied by the summary to be alarming. To regret, to feel so deeply, to be guilty is to be human. If you undo the mistakes so they never happened, it doesn't feel like the proper pay off to the emotions and story presented thus far. Even if it's a happy ending if you did something wrong to some one and never earned their forgiveness, is that fulfilling? In a more theoretical sense the person you fell in love with was the person you hurt, your relationship over time only increased your love and shared memories, are they who you love lacking those memories? Is it right to just wish away your past mistakes than make up for them? I always have a problem with regression and transmigration stories for this and several other reasons, but the way this story grasped my attention... the way my breath stilled and my attention focused, how I immersed into the narrative so quickly made me want to to continue. I have some misgivings about the future plot, albeit the writing and translation that pulled me in makes me hope. This is so wonderfully beautiful that all I can do is hope for more, hope the plot doesn't crash, just hope. The fluttering in my chest won't stop. <<less

This is a story about coming of age and experience love and lust for the first time. I think I can relate to the story as we have experience it at one point in our lives. The translation is great and the character build up makes you want to dig more into their inner self. The MC has trauma growing up with difficult family, fear of his lives, the need to feel normal and be accepted in the society. The ML is one mysterious entity who shown interest and care,... more>> tries to adapt to MC needs without being overbearing but not shy to show his desire to be close. The ML is my favourite character up to this point. Overall I hope this story will continue its depth and more information to fill up the blanks. I cannot put it down, my only complaint is the chapter not uploaded fast enough. <<less
