Location: 32°20′N 64°45′W, Bermuda Triangle

Xia Chuan encountered an accident at sea.

He thought he was going to die in this maritime disaster, but unexpectedly, a clump of deep-sea foam took him to a bizarre place.

A bunch of creatures, which should have turned into fossils, were chaotically dancing and squeaking in front of him, very much alive…

Xia Chuan carefully washed the blood off his hands: You’ve been here so long, have you found any clues to an exit?

Shen Lan dismembered a dead Pyroraptor into pieces, holding up the meat as if offering a treasure: For dinner, would you prefer raw dragon slices or barbecued meat?

Xia Chuan: …I’d rather dismember you.

When a Mercenary Shou Meets a Very Naked Mosasaurus Gong

Plot Rundown:

The story starts with Xia Chuan—a cold, ruthless, and *devastatingly* handsome mercenary tasked with protecting researchers aboard a ship. But when a catastrophic storm hurls them back to the Cretaceous Period, things get interesting. Enter Shen Lan: a tall, muscular, and very naked Mosasaurus (yes, he turns human—don’t fret, just enjoy). Together with Dennis, a jumpy researcher who screams more than he breathes, they fight to return to the modern timeline.

You can tell this was one of Mother’s playthings before she refined her ideas in later works. But don’t let "experimental" fool you—this story is impeccably written, complex, and wildly entertaining. It’s got everything: action, comedy, surreal SciFi, and even deep moral dilemmas wrapped in a prehistoric bow.

The Couple We Didn’t Know We Needed:

- Shen Lan A primal, blunt, naive brute... who’s also s*upidly devoted.

- Xia Chuan: Cold, lethally skilled, but a total secret softie for his Dino husband.

Their chemistry? Chef’s kiss. Balanced, electric, and packed with tension.

Spice Level:

Yes, there’s smut at the end! While not explicitly graphic, it’s sweet, satisfying, and refreshing—classic Mother rewarding her readers at the very end.

Translation Status:

The English TL isn’t complete yet, but if you’re impatient (like me), the read the RAWs with MTL it’s totally worth the struggle.

Final Verdict:

This was my first SciFi danmei, and holy shit, it delivered. 10/10—would time-travel again just to see Shen Lan’s naked ass. Mosasaurus Supremacy Forever!🦖💋 <<less

Now, I was tempted to read this seeing there were no reviews, and given that I'm a fan of Mu Su Li's works, I have to say I am pretty happy with her writing yet again.

Story = a mercenary on a cruise who gets lost in the Bermuda Triangle is saved by a mosasaurus and unravels the mystery of said mosasaurus's identity.

MC (Xia Chuan) = a mercenary hired to protect a researcher who ends up being rescued by a mosasaurus, pretty indifferent and passive at the beginning but begins to... more>> be more expressive.

He's calm and well collected. I added the 'pragmatic protagonist' tag as he's able to adapt to changing situations without relying on well-believed theories. He's also pretty strong and capable of defending himself.

ML (Shen Lan) = a mosasaurus who, at first, attacks (and almost kills) the MC, but saves him afterward. Described as handsome, but pretty lazy and relaxed due to his strength. As the summary says, he's missing a few screws, is horrible at keeping normal conversation, and happens to be incredibly forgetful

and an amnesiac. Fond of MC because of his scent. There's a central mystery surrounding where he came from. Currently, the MC suspects he's a test subject because of an odd tattoo that says 'shenlan02' on his back.

Professor Linton - an old professor who's obsessed with dinosaurs. Fascinated with dinosaurs and even befriends one (Yaya). Well respected (if I remember right) and also was a passenger on the cruise.

Yaya - a Tyrannosaurus who befriends Professor Linton, stuffs him into a small dirt hole, and keeps him there for a day. 😂 If I remember right, he knows Shen Lan somewhat.

I only took a star off from the pacing. I honestly think it's moving a little too slow and I hope to see more action and content in future chapters as the story progresses.

For the translation, I can tell it's not MTL and it reads beautifully. Translator, you're doing an amazing job translating this work and I appreciate what you've done.

All in all, I'm excited to see where this story will goes and will update my review the more I read of it. :D <<less
