This is a story of how a skilled gamer saves the world.

Because of his indulgence in playing the game, Luo Di becomes alienated from life. The result was that he became the most well-known Ranger in the game, «Cracked Earth». After crossing over into the world of the game, he found himself returned two years before the game had started, a point in history with subtle yet lasting effects.

The destroyed country was still intact, and his beloved woman hadn’t yet succumbed to the flames of war brought by the orcs.

Shadows of the undead still linger along its borders, while the masks worn by aristocrats had yet to be torn off.

Events have yet to occur, but Luo Di knew he couldn’t just grip his bow tightly and sit. He wouldn’t watch once more as these lands broke before disaster, thus taking the first step along an epic journey of conflict.

It seems kinda interesting. The language definitely needs some editing, however.

A otaku ranger travels back in time inside a game. This is also when he realizes that sh*t suddenly became real.

I'll give this a 4/5 for now, since it's intriguing. I might update this in the future though.

So far, it seems very promising. Really like how the whole thing is being written. Severly underrated.

First of all.

[The Harem started being gathered from the very beginning.]

Everything he did for the first 180 chapters is tied to some girl. He has only met 3 girls as of chapter 180.

Yet, he has killed a few hundreds just for them.

Don't forget that he is still a low level. Yet he fights people who are leagues ahead of him just for said females.

It goes on and on.

There's no actual correlation to demon lord. Only a paper thin relation to the title.

It's not BAD, but definitely on the low end of average for stuff that's readable. It's basically just an edgy shounen: setting is a mess, 0 EQ protagonist (author reminds us constantly), tons of plot armor... he even wins against a way stronger opponent with the power of believing in himself!

If you don't mind that stuff, you'll probably like it. I can handle it in moderation, but combined it's just too painful. Like ffs, even his nameless servants have insane plot armor and are basically immortal! The solo parts are... more>> whatever, but when you have many battles without a single nameless goon on his side dying after a few months training... and apparently nobody had ever fought in a town before???

I could probably accept it if the MC was more to my taste, but he isn't. Maybe he learns he has a d*ck later on, but >200 chapters and he's been the opposite of a "harem-seeking protagonist". He picks them up, but acts like a JP MC when it comes to women (not for enemies, luckily).

Anyway, it's a fun power fantasy. Don't come looking for a masterpiece, but it's solid junk food if you don't think too much. 2 because ratings are subjective and based on my taste, but even with all that I made it over 200 chapters so it's definitely worth a try.

PS: the name "Demon Lord" is a bad translation imo, I got "Demon Hunter Lord" from an MTL which fits the story way better. Light spoiler for reason:

Spoiler

he gets a class named "Demon Hunter"
