First off, the MC, the MC died in a car accident after finding out her sister and her boyfriend were having an affair behind her back. Both she and her sister were orphans. Now after getting time traveling back into the past the first thing that happens is she gets kissed against her will by her supposed 'love interest'. Next is some fast forward etc. chapters but then comes a problem that is disturbing yet quite common in ancient times, you see, the body the MC possessed was a fool (?), basically the original had a problem in the head, that's all fine and all BUT the original owner's brother (half I think, due to the fact they have same father but not the same mother) loves her (original/mc) romantically....

What's worse is the fact that in early 20-30 chapters (I think) her brother kidnapped MC so that they could elope because original MC and him had some sort of mutual thingy going on (btw, reason that happened was because the brother was gonna be married to a general's daughter) and almost graped her if not for the 'love interest' timely arrival (not, she followed them and didn't help the MC when her clothes were getting torn apart and she was being forcefully kissed). What's worse is the fact that even though that ALREADY happened MC still freaking drank wine with the brother just because she "couldn't" find a reason to refuse which in reality she could've tried a lot, take for example she could've said "NO" backed by the fact that dude just freaking tried to ASSAULT HER!! Just a few days ago dam it!! Oh, and also for some reason even though MC comes from modern era and has watched as she said "ancient drama" she still failed to keep her guard up! Like what the fck? You're alone in ancient times and your father and his legal wife and daughter hate you and your mom... THE LEAST YOU COULD DO WAS KEEP YOUR GUARD UP. Anyway, back to the wine thing, yep you know it, it was drugged.

The wine was drugged, now what could be worse? Oh I don't know, maybe the FACT that her brother was gonna get married in two days and that his fiancee and her family are going to visit their home THAT VERY SAME DAY, and of course as usual in Chinese novels, everyone from the servants to the fiancee to her family to their family to the royal family now saw MC and her brother in bed... Bruh. In MC's words later on nothing happened other than some bites here and there on her body she still remained untainted (virg*n for those who don't get it). But MC's biological mother fainted (I mean who wouldn't when you see your daughter and her brother no?) I should mention the fact that MC is VERY, VERY, dependent on people... Which is why she can't leave Love interest, she keeps saying she and her mom will leave but her mom don't want to.

Now onto the 'love interest', I don't even know what to say... There's a reason why I emphasized love interest, and it's due to the fact that MC says in chapter 40+ (?) that she actually liked the second prince and that if it weren't for the circumstances she would have married him I mean she could've just said it on spur because MC is pretty much susceptible to her emotions and that happened when she was going home after the marriage banquet between her and love interest which love interest already said she was gonna go somewhere after the banquet and MC should just leave first but before MC could the empress decided it would be a good idea to call MC to her palace which after MC did she saw love interest and empress in bed in a very intimate posture to which the love interest told her to get out with a shout which love interest said was because the empress and her got into an argument because love interest found out empress had her eyes on MC and was being petty.

To talk more about that it's like this, after the MC and her brother's scandal nobody in the country now wanted to marry her, some plotting by her father etc. etc. and the MC was supposed to be married off to the second prince which both him and his mother are hated by the emperor basically it was to lower their value or smth like that.

Let's get back to how the MC and the 'love interest' got together. After MC's mom fainted and she found out about her arranged marriage she went to love interest's house and decided to ask for marriage because she thought that love interest and her father were friends (?). Now that's all good and all and MC's s*upidity I guess I can attribute to the fact that the original owner was slow in the head which may have affected her. That's not even the worse thing about the love interest, no, love is fine love is great but still I really wished that when love interest found out that her crush would marry the emperor she gave up... Like she owns half if not all of the country, she could've used her evil little brain to control her brother like a puppet and have the empress (her crush) but no, maybe there's some hidden plot for why or smth, but Love interest was VERY capable of doing it, heck she could've been another female emperor since the southern emperor in the story is female AND has a harem of women. Another's worse thing is the fact that love interest is literally forcing herself on MC... Yeah, she is. To be honest I don't even think it's mutual, heck I have a feeling love interest is using MC as substitute of the empress. Another is the fact that even though MC and love interest are married and did some flirting and even slept together Love interest still went to the empress's palace leaving MC alone, MC was fine with it because she hasn't fallen yet but that's seriously not far off... What's more is the fact that the empress is a bit*h I swear, she's probably the reason love interest can't move on easily, because she keeps threatening love interest take for example in one chapter where she tells love interest to divorce MC because MC is not worthy of Love interest when in reality she's just afraid that someone so high up like the love interest will fall out of her grasp, she even shows these signs that she's interested in love interest and yet when love interest tries to advance their relationship she moves on to saying "I love the emperor and you but we can't be together" what bullshitry?
