Great plot great smut definitely better than what I was expecting. Had issues such as: the way the MC sometimes acted a bit braindead (ik she has trauma and everything but I expected a bit more from her at times) but aside from those parts I genuinely liked how strong and independent the MC was. ML is very typical like every korean novel out there obsessive protective handsome etc etc but no complaints aside from when he became too obsessive which was kinda off putting. Still recommend

Meh. I made it to the end of the book, but by the end I was definitely just skimming. S*x scenes were fine but get repetitive. Plot was decent with a couple of twists. I would recommend reading if you’re bored, but I personally wouldn’t reread it. It has the classic issue of being interesting in the beginning but being dragged on too long by the author. Still not terrible overall.

NSFW. I can't stress that enough. For those looking for smut and plot, you'll be VERY SATISFIED

Amazing. This is a different level to novels in my fav. Once I reached a certain chapter, I just couldn't stop reading. Plot reels you in. Seamless combination of smut and plot was just 100/10

I absolutely love this! Although It's quite rare for me to leave a comment but this story is too good I had to say something about it. Especially the chemistry between the two leads. Their interactions had me riding a rollercoaster of emotions from feeling anxious to excitement. It feels like a passionate tango dance. XD And somehow the action in this story makes it even more interesting and fun to read. I also love how the ML gets more honest with the FL as each chapter passes. Not expecting the story would be quite solid, and it was rare for me to stumble upon such a strong FL in a dark-themed story with some actions. She is not easy to handle, free-spirited, and definitely not a pushover. Though the story keeps me on the toe because of the battle of wit and the smut moments, I'm fond of the banter between the lead, they could be funny, romantic, frustrating. Gonna miss them so bad but I heard this series got adapted to webtoon, I'm looking forward to... more>> it!

This was a much appreciated welcome. I really needed a palate cleanser after the recent streak of duds I've read during quarantine. I liked both leads. Doesn't fall into the usual caveat of having the MC devolving into a useless, whiny mess and the ML being the all encompassing hero (or vice versa).

Extra nice that the series was already completed by an excellent translator. Saves me the trouble of waiting and reading the KR :).
