give it a try, since we (or just me) feel bored about CN/jp web novel cliche and this korea have a little diffrent way of story telling sometime

It's an interesting premise but the way the author withhold information from the readers really gets on my nerves. Usually, when done right it would invoke a sense of mystery but this novel just makes me confused and annoyed. But it doesn't seem mysterious at all, it just reads like a terrible writer trying to pass off as a good one by not writing anything.

It's like how in certain genres like horror when you refrain from giving all the information it adds to the entire atmosphere and lets the reader's... more>> imagination run wild. But you still have to f*cking make the atmosphere first, this novel doesn't do any of that. Not only do you lack any f*cking information, but you're also subjected to multiple unreliable narrators, timeskips, and multiple cliche plot points (gotta have an academy, succession battles, etc.)

One of the main problems is the main character, he says and thinks one thing but goes and does the exact opposite. And even this is not clearly stated, because it tries to pretend he's competent and only hides his powers or downplays his powers while also pretending to have him be a bit*h that has a useless power and has no backbone. Normally this would be portrayed in a way that makes you be interested in finding out the truth, but in this novel, I would hate him no matter which case turns out to be true, the MC is so f*cking annoying and whiny that it eliminates any possible tension.

Honestly, this was one of the most annoying novels I've read in a while. It feels like reading a post from one of those extra special Redditors who think they're better than you because they know some niche useless information. The novel feels like it's pretending to be better than it actually is purely due to them withholding every single piece of information possible.
