Other Earth players who had their three views got broken too: “Boss Mo, please help me!”

“Dungeon 1 (first round of internal testing): Doomsday upgrade flow√.

Dungeon 2: Goblin Craftsmen√.

Dungeon 3 (second round of internal testing): Spring and Autumn Warring States·Mohism√.

Dungeon 4: World Tree.

Dungeon 5 (public testing): Jurassic.

Reading Guide:

1. Infinite upgrade flow.

2. Infrastructure text, slow and not abusive, cool!

3. Yezi’s typo-ridden work is currently undergoing intensive revisions!

4. Main plot: Survival and camaraderie come first, other background elements follow.

5. Many people care about the romance aspect. Ye Mo is 38 years old (still a dragon hatchling under 100 years old) and has had two boyfriends (peaceful breakups, the ex-boyfriends are not bad people). It’s certain that someone as outstanding as her would attract humans or demons. This story includes family love, romantic love, friendship, mentor-disciple affection, sisterly/brotherly affection, and patriotism. The hope is to build a world with flesh and blood. The aforementioned aspects don’t have a large focus until the “Classic of Mountains and Seas” arc, where the female lead’s mindset starts to change. Romance is background; after all, this story only has one protagonist, only one, Ye Mo YYDS!

6. The heroine is so handsome, isn’t it attractive to a group of handsome, cool or beautiful fans?

I like the approach of MC to the world and to the "game". Analysis, conclusion, new course of action.

The biggest problem is authors Victim mentality. She complains about hard womans life (it is dreadful necessity in camouflage/lipstick etc.). She sets up merit/skill proficiency community and the next day no one cares about merit. She still forces "weak woman belief" on to fantasy creatures right beside all powerful magic/sword aura.

So we have situation - no one can tell power/skill based on appearance because magic BUT woman are far inferior anyway.... more>> Both can not be true at the same time.

For example irl average man is physically stronger then average woman. And we can tell irl man have bigger muscle, have bigger muscle growth with the same training. So we can tell the difference based on appearance.

In this fantasy world we don't have consistency in this aspect. We have author forced setting and events and author forced beliefs on characters in this world. This two entities live separate lives and doesnt interact with each other whatsoever.

My conclusion is - nonexistent story, cardboard characters, STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN powering throw her own victim mentality. <<less

A fantasy adventure novel with a female MC who works as a mechanical engineer. No romance. The story is not well written, and has issues with character building, but it's ok to pass the time with if you don't use your brain too much.

MC starts off clever but not very strong, and she quickly overcomes her physical flaws with perserverance and smarts. She's passionate with her job, and it is mentioned a lot. Later on the MC learns more about mechanics and forging and how to combine this with mystics... more>> and magic, and it's fun to watch her make items, sell some, and arm herself to complete dungeons.

MC has a cool personality. She is careful, hardworking, and does not shy away from making relations if it helps both people involved, while being ruthless enough to do what is necessary. This makes the story not frustrating to read, but it also means MC doesn't have much of a visible flaw. You could call her Mary Sue at times. It's not that bad yet at chapter 50 or so, but I hope her character gets better fleshed out later.

Another downside is it that the story sometimes includes political opinions from the author, and there's also subtle nationalism. Makes sense, since the tag is there. It's fine if you can ignore and skip past this, and I would say it's much less apparent or serious compared to other Chinese novels, but it's still there.

MLT isn't bad with this novel, I'm using it rn. Take note that the chapter numbers on mtl and tl don't match up.

I'll rewrite a review later to check things out and see if things get better or worse, or if it's just me overthinking.

Edit:

More chapters in, and MC faces fewer and fewer challenges. Everyone trusts and admires her and she's the best. Not only does this get boring over time, it makes you wonder how it is even possible or feasable for everyone to like her. And how is she's able to do things without once facing opposition or reasonable doubt? Events playing out feel very forced.

The third arc also feels weird. It

had MC acting as a general and dictator in a war without once doubting or considering other ways to protect her people, such as diplomacy. War was not written to be a last resort or something unavoidable and dark, but something to proudly engage in, and the novel said MC could run away but she did not do so on purpose because she wanted to fight. The system even later gives out rewards for killing soldiers, so all the characters happily massacre enemy soldiers with advanced weapons made by the MC. At this point, her priorities are messed up, and she seems pointlessly ruthless and edgy without any internal struggle or empathy.

It's messed up.

The only good news is that the nationalism hasn't gotten worse yet. It's just the typical China is the best spiel, and it's subtle and not in your face, but readers may want to take caution. <<less

The first two arcs are well done: decent story, interesting MC (how she leverages her engineering job was a nice touch), okay system.

Everything up to this point is mostly fine. How fast the MC is randomly gaining stats is kind of concerning, but that's just a nitpick at this point.

Spoiler

Arc 1 is a standard zombie survival. Decently done.

Arc 2 is a fantasy world with monsters. MC learns to craft here.

After learning to craft MC leverages her engineering job to mass produce items to sell to other players, which is pretty interesting.

In Arc 3 everything goes downhill. The story becomes confusing, system goes to hell (any semblance of pretend balance is gone past this point).

Arc 1 & 2 are pretty generic with limited or basic world building (which is a good thing in my opinion for this type of novel). However, Arc 3 in particular reverses this trend way too much.

Spoiler

Arc 3 is set in Ancient China, and we get lots and lots of world building, quite frankly it's way too much world building for a world that we'll see in one jump. It feels like reading a history book at times.

Arc 4 is set during Ragnarok, it's better than Arc 3.
