This is mindless smut and one of the rare novels that gets me to root against the MC.

Imagine if you were reading Regressor Instruction Manual and the MC was still as scheming, but completely unfunny, always serious. This MC is like that, except that, unlike the MC from RIM, he doesn't do anything to anyone. The only real action he ever takes is having s*x, but even that is lukewarm because most of the times he just asks for it first, and some times, he even begs for it.

At the... more>> beginning, his internal thoughts make you think that he wants to pay back what they've done to him. Unfortunately, that's not the case. He's constantly looking for their approval and the only people he ever treats badly are those who were already weaker than him. He takes advantage of the only woman who showed him kindness and only dares to act haughty in front of the school or plane staff. When it comes to the students, he acts like the meek little boy that he is.

His most pathetic part, though, by far, is when he tries to conquer Seo-Hee:

Spoiler

After she beats his ass up, he manages to grow closer to her incurring her pity, showing his bruises and blood to everyone in the camp. He does manage to grow closer, but she just sees him as a little brother. He has no experience and zero appeal, so he can only scheme and even after he forcefully inserts his finger into her pu*sy and he gets scolded, he continues to scheme.

Seeing as he was unable to convince her, he outright asks for it, like usual. As expected, she rejects him and he goads her into making a bet on fighting. He was confident and I thought he'd finally show a cool side, maybe he improved his stats or something, but no no no, instead, he just decided to be pathetic again and bank on the girl's refusal to hurt him. He just let himself get beat up over and over again until she took pity on him.

It was a completely pathetic approach and all throughout, I was sincerely hoping he wouldn't succeed because it's totally undeserved. But alas, the author has no intention of making him grow as a person or even make him just a tiny bit more likeable. I couldn't even read the scene afterwards and ended up skipping it. Good thing, too, because the scene with her has the longest chapter of the series. Seems the author really like this love interest. Should've tried harder if he liked her so much.

[collapse]

Aside from the plethora of undeserved conquests, the MC continues his RPG fetch quests and makes hundreds of points, never once making good use of them. Only after making thousands of points, does he figure out that he should unlock the shop.

Anyway, a real waste of time. I read over 55 chapters, but don't be mistaken, the chapters are long. Some easily three times as long as typical chinese web novels. You will be reading for a long time to get there, and nobody gets any comeuppance, neither does the MC grow in any capacity. The only difference is that his living situation improves and he f*cks women. <<less
