A solid 4 stars! The story is tough to read but that information is available in the tags. My complaint is that I think the story could be more developed in its world building and storyline. I would love to have seen the author develop this isn't a longer novel because the characters and situation within the novel is interesting and different from other novels in the genre

In this ABO world, the Betas have become the lowest class citizens and are seen as a little better than s*aves while Alphas and Omegas dominate society both in standing and in numbers. I'm impressed with how well fleshed out the world is depicted in such a short story. The story is short but pretty intense -- after all, it's a zombie apocalypse! <<less

The two stars is only for the world building aspect and the possibilities of what could've been had it been expounded. It is a very interesting take on ABO. A very consequential take on an oppressed group of people finally taking things into their own hands. I wish the author could write an essay about it.

Pros :

Strong beta MC x alpha ML. Hard to find a good beta MC. Alpha is kinda creepy tbh.

About their relationship, still don't understand why MC doesn't runaway or something to escape from ML but then again if he did then this novel wouldn't be here in the first place. Also, some ML actions are questionable

Cons :

It's a meat book so there's not much character development, not much world building. I wouldn't expect much from a meat novel. Still it's an enjoyable read

Well... the translation was great and even though English is not my first neither second language, I could understand it very well.

I usually don't mind smut novels with weird settings like hypnosis, omegaverse etc. Because I only read it for the smut. I wouldn't complain about those themes, fully knowing about them before I read it. The problem with this novel is how it tried to make the extortion logical, even paving a way for the feelings of the MC and ML. Those thinking that I rated it low because I simply wasn't comfortable with the novel itself should wake up. Smut, zombies. I liked it. What's not to like.

Ok the seme is passionate and very obsessed with the uke (and a rapist but if you can look past that you will enjoy it)

The uke has a cool personality. He is independent and strong. Not girly at all.

Its very short though and I wish there was more chapters or at least an extra with a baby (since it is set in ABO world)

i think this is a good novel. For you who like love and sunshine please don't read this novel. Its dark. Well, as you can see this novel is at the end of the world. When there is no hope. Only instinct to survive. When hopelessness, madness and obsession attack you. I think the ML action is true. There is no rule. Only the strong stand and win. So he did anything he can to win the MC. The MC is yeah, definitely get the Stockholm syndrome. He can't run.... more>> He lost hope in that world. Nothing constant. Even when peace come he still in turmoil. Only the obsession and the madness from the ML that constant in that world. He give up. And learn to love what he had.
