Summary of c1-c17: The protagonist, Mori, was once a citizen of a civilization approximately a thousand years in the future. However, the MC had an unhealthy body and was on track to have their consciousness transferred to a healthier body. Something went wrong and he now she wakes up in a new body several years in the future when civilization collapsed. The city she finds herself in is full of corpses frozen by unexplained cold weather. She adapts to survive and contemplates the foreign world she's in. Eventually, she finds... more>> a drone which she uses to contact the past, but she doesn't know this because the communication is flawed with some messages not getting through and the rest coming a day late. So far the people of the past are trying to figure out the mystery behind the communication broadcast and Mori just uses the chats as motivation to survive. At chapter 17, Mori decides to leave the city because of finite resources.

About Mori: Despite the bleak state of the world, she remains optimistic. She is very thoughtful and displays a philosophical side whenever she is making observations and inferences about the dead civilization she was left to inherit.

This story has a lot of potential. However, it's still too soon to determine where it is going. I believe the event after c17 are going to be a turning point because the protagonist is planning to leave the desolate city she's in. What she sees outside the city will determine how the story will develop.

Important unanswered questions: How did civilization end? How will Mori's stream affect the past and vice versa? What is the world like outside the initial setting of a desolate city? Any shortcomings in my analysis is because I refuse to spend more time than necessary on the shitty site that is currently translating the novel. <<less
