This novel is very fun and lovely. The protagonist is adorable. Here, the cultivation world is all sunshine and roses; there are no conspiracies or senseless hatred towards the protagonist. If you come here looking for coherence in people's actions, you won't find it. This novel is meant to brighten your day.

Very fun novel, if you have seen another xianxia novel then you should be used to the plot, the thing with this novel is mainly light hearted and more sol type of story.

So, I was browsing through Novelpia looking for something good to read and stumbled across this novel. It's pretty popular on the site, so I thought, why not check it out on NU? When I found it, I was surprised to see how low it was rated. No one had even reviewed it yet, which made me hesitate. But after seeing a couple of reviews pop up, I decided to give it another shot, and honestly, I'm glad I did.

Maybe it's just the short attention spans and brainrot content affecting people, like, they probably read 10 chapters, didn't vibe with it immediately, and hit it with a 1-star rating. Honestly, don't let that fool you; it's worth diving into.

It's one of those hidden gems where the low ratings don't do it justice. Sometimes, you just have to push past the surface-level impressions and give a story time to develop. If you trust the reviews too much, you might miss out on something genuinely interesting. <<less

While a recommended read, I'll say the translation quality can and will be grating. Early chapters is fine, around ch 20 or so is when it slowly gets worse. Some incorrect pronouns are fine. What is not is the all important setting terms goes constant change every now and then. An example is mention of "legal power" instead of spiritual energy or qi. Most evident around 20 to 30+ is the cultivation rankings are switching between from Korean to English to mistranslated terms (Determination/Resolution instead of Core Formation, etc.) which... more>> can be confusing to headache-inducing. I wonder if part of low ranking of this novel is precisely because of the translation quality? The quality somewhat hits an average of good quality to bad quality ch 40 to 50+ Overall, once you endured the early bad translation quality, it'll be somewhat manageable.

But what about the story? If you get over the translation quality, the story is wonderful. Its a light-hearted take on the Cultivation novel. While there are fights and ascensions obstacles, there isn't the strife of arrogant senior bullying the newcomer, jealous peers, vengeful enemy, etc. You know, the usual cliche that gets over used like a torn wet rag. Rather its an interesting take that's heartwarming at certain aspects and more peaceful xianxia. Rather, it hits the notes for real-life enlightenment. There is also the fact it can be funny and comedic here and there. Definitely feels like an Slice-of-life take with good action scenes here and there (one of my favorites is around ch 80).

A webnovel of similar vibes that comes to mind is "Ascending Do Not Disturb". If you like that then you might like this one too. <<less

Not sure why the rating of this novel here is so low. Is it because of the bad translation? Anyway, this novel is def worth giving a try, please don't let the rating scare you! I hope you will enjoy the journey of our cute MC and her friends just as much as I do.
