This story is interesting so far and I'm liking the MCs personality. One day a random lady joins the temple claiming to be the "second saintess" diminishing MCs reputation. She has more divine power and popularity than our MC. However she's been scheming to gain power as the empire's sole saintess which led to MCs tragic past ending.

After regressing, MC decides to step it up and end her time as the temple's doormat to avoid her depressing death. Right away she aims to keep her reputation intact by revealing the... more>> prophecy of her looming death herself and leaving the temple on her own terms. From there she hopes to gain the favor of Aslan in order to get married and escape the reaches of the temple and emperor.

It hasnt been revealed as to why MC and ML avoided each other for years nor why ML seems to hate MC. Probably misunderstandings.

I'd like to see where this story goes, but the current translations are so confusing to read that I had to give up before I got too invested in the story. A lot of the translations either just don't make any sense or the pronouns are so mixed up you cant even guess what's going on. It doesn't seem like there are any other translations available at the moment, but I will pick back up when new ones come out! <<less

The story is fine, you can also see the same plot on other Korean novels out there.

It's about a Hestia the Saintess and a Princess, which made her position awkward due to political reasons. Since in ancient times, the church and the nobles doesn't get along very well. She is a symbolic figure which bridges the two separate factions. Because of that, no one truly cares for her as she was deemed as a pawn for their interests, even her own relatives, her uncle the King.

Then in her life as... more>> a saintess, a new saintess arrived. Her delicate standing became more fragile along with her powers starts to diminish. Her value lessened, then this new saintess—Annette is also against her existence.

This entails her struggles as an oracle arrived giving her an ultimatum of her nearing death. Within a year, she must marry to lengthen her lifespan. Hence she chose Aslan Kalati, the Duke of the North as her last resort to her freedom and survival.

The start was similar to Tragedy of the Villainess, as the commentator said. Honestly, there's a misunderstanding between Hestia and Aslan that result their current dry relationship. It was explained earlier in the story, so no need to spoil.

Spoiler

It was quite frustrating because Hestia is quite weak-willed although I kind of understand why. It seems like it's a norm for every female lead. Aslan, our ML, is a fine definition of tsundere. Sharp tongue, and sarcastic remarks which also the reason their relationship doesn't improve that much. Of course, the FL is also part of it. She can't talk straight and often derailed their conversation.

[collapse]

This novel has potential, but there are way too many typos. Annette, turns into Anessa, Aneyya. The pronouns are jumbled, and there are grammatical errors as well. I can tolerate it, but the longer I read, the errors became prominent.

PS. Didn't mean to offend the translators. I just want to point it out. <<less
