Shu Mo crossed over into Extreme Cold Apocalypse and even got bound to a simulation management system.

At the start, the system let her choose a type of shop to manage.

Shu Mo, freezing like a dog: …Do I even need to think about this?

She shivered as she typed in “hot spring street.”

*

The entire world was swept into a bizarre survival game.

Temperatures plummeted, monsters invaded from all sides, resources were scarce, and all warm things vanished from the world, plunging it into an endless winter.

In the tenth year after the game began, the despairing players unexpectedly discovered…

At the foot of a snowy mountain, there was actually a hot spring inn surrounded by rising steam.

—Amid the vast snowy mist, a warm orange light glowed. Steam lingered in the air, the smell of sulfur filled their noses, and as they approached, calm and peaceful background music played in their ears.

The players, realizing what they had found, immediately went wild.

Shu Mo’s hot spring inn quickly became explosively popular, and its business scope gradually expanded.

From various hot springs, foot baths, and saunas,

to steaming oden, hot pot, and ramen,

and even to speciality shops and water parks…

Reluctantly leaving Shu Mo’s inn, the players were shocked to find that they had gained all sorts of buffs on their bodies!

【 Roasted Sweet Potato 】After consumption, stamina recovery speed +4/h (effect lasts 24 hours)

【 Sulfur Foot Bath 】Agility +3, movement speed +3 (effect lasts 24 hours)

【 Speciality: Red Bean Bun 】Instantly restores 20 stamina points (carry limit *6)

The players who had already stepped out of the door quickly turned around and went back inside.

What kind of resort is this? This is clearly a massive health pack!!

Accidentally turning the survival game into an idle mobile game, Shu Mo suddenly snapped out of it one day and realized that the game had actually been cleared.

The players, brave and unmatched, with countless buffs above their heads and backpacks full of stamina and mana-restoring specialities, had wiped out the monsters’ lair.

Looking at the “Savior” title that had appeared above her head, Shu Mo: ???

Career orientated novel, 5/5 for casual read. I MTL until the end, and there is no romance in this (only a tiny bit of scene with Mo Bai but never cross over friendship line).

The story isn't that monotone, but don't expect for heart-boiling scene or anything other emotions than when you play management game (aka other than satisfaction seeing the hot spring to grow, there are not much notable plot in this story, which itself has deliver what it needed, so 5/5).

If you come for politics or intrigued like other... more>> management building webnovel, you'll be disappointed since there is none. The problem that MC encounter at most is having not enough money to upgrade (solved in couple chapters), having too much resource not knowing what to do (solved in less than one chapter), etc. So do read this if you are up for casual read only. <<less

4.5 / 5 ⭐

I usually won't read anything that doesn't have enough review and is not in romance category, because I like to read the ending spoiler first, I like happy ending.

However, since this novel got the typical plot that I like, something that feels like a leisure life, I'm intriguing to read it. When I first reading this story, it got romance tag on it which is misleading, there's not even late romance in it. I'll explain it on spoiler part later.

This book is truly about management simulation, our... more>> FMC mainly developing her business (Hot Spring) while other characters got their story explained more. So I feel like our FMC just always stands on the side, looking after the other characters. Fortunately we could still feel her presence in the story.

What I like about this story: it's about hot spring management in a never ending snowy setting. You could feel some warmth from it! What's more, there's a closure to the story. I think this is something really important that sometimes forgotten in other stories.

There's not much thing happened in the story so I thought I could finish it soon but who would have thought I spent almost a week to just reading this story, maybe because I don't have the urge to finish it as soon as possible. It was a nice read!

SPOILER: no-romance & ending

Spoiler

in my opinion there's no romance in it, not even late romance. Even if I said that, on the last 2 chapter there's a bit of tension between FMC and Mo Bai. But it was not a romantic relationship, it was more of a family relationship. What's more, when FMC decided to maintain the current "monsters" in the world, it was said monsters don't have the ability to reproduce, so they have no future, they'll become extinct as time goes by. But that's the choice of all the S-level monsters and FMC, they're fine with it because they want to feel life. It kinds of an open ending in my opinion but well at least the last paragraph was about Mo Bai found his home/family which is the FMC

[collapse]

I wouldn't read this book if I didn't see the romance tag in it (I love romance and happy ending) so even though, in fact, there's no romance in it I'm grateful to the translator for bringing this book here. I read the note that the translator was confused too because as far as they read they don't see any romance in it but I understand, because in the raw this novel was put in romance category.

I would love to read something similar, especially one with romance in it~! <<less

Romance and Late Romance tag is highly misleading, glad that it's already removed.

It's a really relaxing story, where there's not much stimulation not much plot twist or crazy drama, nor does it take itself seriously.

It doesn't prolong it's stay, it ended where it should end.

... more>> Our main character Shu Mo, actually acts more of a narrator/NPC down the line. We spend a lot of time getting to know her customer and their backstories, and how they react to Shu Mo's magical hot springs.

And I will not say that it's a bad thing, I enjoy it, having a main character who doesn't really actively participate in the game, who provides crazy buffs and support to the players. Shu Mo handles it with humour and gentle kindness, and with her own way. She doesn't spens xxx amount of time using the buffs she got from her own business to fight monsters, she really does spend her time to perfect her business and I respect the story for that. It stays loyal to it's genre, down to the core. <<less

Nice slice of life apocalypse life-skills MC. MC is pretty smart and doesn't take the setting too seriously so its relaxing. Cute pets as well.
