Our MC is diagnoosed with an illness which makes him unable to be awake for a long period of time. He keeps sleeping for a longer period of time which also puts burden on his family. It kinda reminds me of Franz Kafka at that point because our MC feels pretty guilty about this. His family works a lot and tries to keep him alive so our MC also wants to make something to make them happy. Anyways some things just doesn't end well. At the same time because MC sleeps for longer times his soul begins to leave his body. He travels the world in the meantime he sleeps but loneliness is truly a poison that makes him sad. One day he sees a golden butterfly flappimg its wings in the distance and gets curious about it so follows it. The golden butterfly takes him to another world which is ruled by monarchy unlike his own world. He meets with someone named Sath and his adventure and long lost wish begins to stir inside him

MC meets ML in his soul (butterfly (we'll learn that later)) form ML can't see him. Just hears him. MC help ML avoid some assassins. After some blabla MC decides to commit su*cide and takes sleeping pills in his real world. ML Hates being out of control so he orders some mages to make his original body for his soul. It is successfull and MC lives in ML's world.

ML made that body for MC using his own life. That way MC would eat up his life but would also live untill the day ML dies. ML didn't tell that to MC. That was a selfish choice but he knew MC wouldn't like it. After MC learns it. He felt extreme guilt. He once again felt like he became a burden. The emperor gave him a choice. MC choosed to die instead of living of ML's life. Then some things happened. He somehow returned to his own world after following a golden butterfly. He saw his family. I won't go in detail but his sis said it was okay to be selfish to his unmoving body. So after that he really decided to be selfish. ML's wish was the thing that made him travel through worlds and his wish once again entertwined with ML's... Anyways.

MC with a depression and ended his own life!

Something I don't like is that the main character meets up with his abusive family. As well as the whole thing with running away, we could've ended this in 100 chapters. Didn't really need the extra 30.

MC is so precious lol. His backstory brings tear to my eyes and I feel for both him and his family althought the way they treated him was not that good. I normally prefer bottoms with strong personality (maybe even ruthless/cunning) but MC really touches my soft spot (not saying that MC’s personality was weak, I just thought he was a cinnamon roll). He had a blind trust and loyalty towards ML (somewhat submissive) but honestly I didn’t find that part disturbing.

Maybe it’s partly because of how ML treated him. Yes, ML is your typical lunatics: he was cruel, cold-hearted and of course never hesitant to delete a few fingers/arms/legs/etc. Of yours if necessary. He was even possessive and obsessive towards MC. Despite that, ML was really affectionate to MC: he tried to keep MC safe, healthy, allowed MC to do whatever the f*ck he liked and told MC to never suppress his feelings (this hits so hard because back when MC was with family, he always forced a smile so that they wouldn’t be worried). Sometimes ML still showed some concerning thoughts, like “oh maybe I should erase his legs so no running away” but eh, he never acted out on that (dude didn’t even dare to hurt MC lol even he got multiple chance to).
