First of all, it's definitly not for those readers who don't like possesive, blind love; crying; misunderstanding; mentally kinda weak, and physically weak characters.

But! If you are into all of these, (when the MC has got a weak body but a tricky, careful, smart and sharp side) than it's for you.

Of course most people say that this story is so unreal, but come on! You read it because you know that this isn't exist in real life.

What I (personally) loved about this novel, that it always stayed interesting,... more>> and there were just enough spicy scenes (without any unnecessary and forced development).

In my opinion the ending was smartly solved and it was satisfying for me. I think that the greatness of the ending lies how the reader feels after reading it. If you think that every singel plot has been finished (like the MC's family, we clearly knew that the ML hide the truth from the MC, yet at the final chapters the MC realised it and finished it with his own hands), there is no more any unsolved mystery (what is exactly the gold butterfly, who is the beloved servant, why is the second prince acted like that, what is the secret which the mage's helper hide) and of course our couple cleared there feeling for each other. So if you realy, realy feel like that the whole story was a circle (because everything connected to each other) than, just in my own personal opinion, it got a great ending.

The story was a great journey for me, definitly number 2 for me (no.1: [Turning], highly recommended for fairy trap fans).

I can't wait to read the side story. <<less

I haven't read the whole thing yet, but I hope the rest of it is as good as the beginning.

This relationship has so much potential to be toxic, but for some reason, it isn't. I mean, there are definitely some power dynamics going on that aren't exactly healthy, but the two main characters treat each other so genuinely. Although ML is yandere AF, he never hides that part of himself from MC and pretty much tells him up front what he's getting into. And MC is absolutely into it.

The story was good in the beginning, but the more I read it the more pissed off I get. I get why the MC is timid and all that, but seeing how trusting he is to the ML despite barely knowing him. Also his constant self-deprecating comments/thoughts pisses me off to no end. In conclusion this novel gave me a big headache and wasted my time.

One thing that was good about this novel though is the translation. I had no trouble understanding anything and... more>> it flowed very well. Thank you to them! <<less

His family doesn't not love him anymore, just that they're tired and upset and have been for a full 5 years and when you're that tired you take it out on people who don't deserve it. Which yes, they should be blamed for. But I think too, because MC worked so hard to hide how they felt, they kinda assumed he was ok, and never really thought further because they were all busy and tired too. Doesn't excuse their words or brusque actions, and they definitely should have tried to understand a little better, but their actions are also understandable.

I picked up this novel randomly but you know what, it was really good. Don't expect fluffy, pure love for this one though. The ML is crazy, possesive, tyranical yeah whatever you want in a red flag. However, the MC is not someone sane either. He willingly accept to be shackled, blinding trust and unconditionaly loyal to the ML. Toxic relationship done right I must say lol. Even the tower master couldn't understand their craziness for each other. Don't expect heart fluttering smut. This one only has 2 smut with... more>> heavy feeling. The plot is surely plotting in this novel.

Go for it if you want well written and well translated novel. <<less

First of all, this is amazing. I love how dark the story is. I love how the mental health issues are conveyed and how it creates the story as a whole.

The MC and ML are just perfect. I know, ML is toxic af but I just love how he melts when MC is around. MC is not dumb but also not too clever. I think that all the characters have their strengths and weaknesses and that makes them likeable. The plot is unique and I cannot really predict where it... more>> is heading.

So far only 40+ chaps are out but I know that instead of waiting, I'll be rereading the chapters because it is so good.💜 <<less

I really liked it

Sure there are some minor things that maybe if think deeper into it they'll be weird but I don't mind that much

The only problem I would say is that for 133 chapters the side characters could've been more developed. I really enjoy some good side characters but there were really 2D

A thing I really loved is how the ML always had the darkest thoughts on how to keep the MC close to him but never ever acted on them and always treated him in a really sweet... more>> way <<less

Not yet finished. I will probably be coming back here when there's more chapters.

  • I cried so much in earlier chapters. I feel so much for JYG because of what he's been through.
  • Sometimes it's kinda boring because maybe I'm not really that used to MC's that has extreme self-esteem issues ig??? Thought it's not too bad because he is improving.
  • I'm thankful for the translations but honestly the website layout and the lack of choices for fonts and background color is unbearable. My eyes hurts so bad reading with black background during daylight so I kinda just skimmed through some chapters just to make it quick.

I couldn't bring myself to wait more for updates so I readed till chapter 80 mtl and well all I have to say is dang that worth it!!

This is what I was looking for the whole time

the story is amazing and Arthur did a great job, but this isn't for just anyone, The story is a bit dark (not much with our dear mc)
