It's the first relationship for both MC and ML, so they face some realistic obstacles:

1. While both of them are understanding of each other's situations and how busy both of them are, MC (instigated by her friends somewhat) struggles with long-distance relationship once, but it is resolved VERY quickly, maybe in the same or next chapter

2. ML is jealous two or three times, and while those scenes were not fun to read, I still feel like it's very understandable — women of his world are expected to have zero to no contact with men, and while ML never tries to restrict MC's freedom, and probably consciously understands that she really isn't cheating on him, emotions are emotions. Would be weirder if he was absolutely perfect and his upbringing didn't play even a little part.

Overall, both MC and ML learn and grow in their relationship. I personally dislike romance with no struggles or misunderstandings borne from unique character settings.

There are some other moments that may seem strange — like how, for example, MC takes a long time to think of sending ML medicine into the ancient time. He's a general during the war, surely antibiotics would've been an easy thing to think of, right? In the times when every injury can be infected and therefore deadly?

Though, she does think of it later. It is a common theme in the novel — there's a problem that needs solving, and it takes some time for the MC to solve it, usually one to five chapters. I won't say it makes MC look unintelligent, but I got an impression that MC is ungodly busy with her studies, so she cuts on her problems-solving time to cram in more studying.

It is a novel that centres on relationships, with the world serving as mostly a backdrop (I'm usually not a fan of such stories, preferring the opposite, but this novel was charming and well-paced enough to keep my attention), so, when MC's and ML's romance reached culmination, author kinda wrapped things up very quickly with the rest. I've seen more egregious examples of rushed endings, and this one didn't feel like it was too short in length as it was not written as well as the rest of the novel. Some people may say there are loose ends, but I wasn't bothered much by stuff like mysterious crystal flower and such — I just felt like all the important things were said already, and dragging it on would've been too much.

the male lead was tire from war and sad and everything so he visit the Fl, and saw that some guy drop the FL home from supermarket, she ask the FL who it was, the FL said it was just a friend, he then (this is what I dont like) raise his voice to the FL asking again who the guy is... in my opinion its loke he didnt believe the fl... and his reason for raising his voice is bcs he feel bad that it was not him that help the fl.... like wtf man....
