Honestly, no. It’s like the author who is used to writing crying and pitiful female lead tries to write strong and upright but couldn’t let go of her old ways. So the entire thing isn’t beautifully expressed and becomes somewhat boring.

the most annoying thing is the

1. Choice of ml,

it’s like she specifically chooses a near s*um character that could easily turn the entire thing into a dog blood article but falls short because the author keeps in mind that it’s not dog blood. For example, the ML is always... more>> the guy that put the former body’s owner to death. And I’m like- what? Is the author trying to show that the ML has no feelings for anyone other than the fl? Like can’t he just be some random guy character that didn’t kill the original body?.

Spoiler

so there’s an ancient arc where the original owner was r*ped and killed due to someone’s plot. Obviously when the FL comes into the story she kills the rapist instead. I kid you not when I say this, as soon as the FL left the place, the ML popped out of hiding and when like, “mmmh interesting” and I’m like WHAT THE ACTUAL f*ck?

like was he hiding there watching a girl be violated until she died and did nothing?

only when the FL came in and killed the guy did she gain his interest? Like? The f*ck?

[collapse]

and that is the kind of man the author puts the FL together with ? Like the f*ck? It’s like we have to ignore all his brutality and s*um nature because he is apparently following the FL through time?

2. Worst of all is the FL who screams justice and criticizes and punishes other characters for failing to follow through with justice yet when she faces the ml, every part of her self righteous sense of justice crumbles to nothing.

Spoiler

the zombie arc. This guy had caused the death of so many people and even ruined their chance at a next life. Like literally closed the entire f*cking reincarnation route. He even s**ked up their souls as energy. And when the FL finds out that he is the mastermind behind everything- lord have mercy!

she just puts on a sorrowful expression and asks him why. Then she doesn’t bother to pursue the matter or make him fix his mistakes. She then assured him that she’d stay with him. They stayed together for 80 f*cking years and non of them ever thought to fox the f*cking mistake.

the ML was supposed to be punished not to reincarnate but guess who we see in the next life?

HIM dressed as a s*um who killed the original owner, Again.

the only punishment he received was Being mortal. S*upid.

[collapse]

3. Like what is the f*cking point of her living through these lives? It’s like she steals the body of unsuspecting souls and then just exerts revenge on whomever she feels like. We never get to hear from the original owner about what they want or something.

it’s basically a really annoying my book. The FL is a bit of a dead brain so the side characters will appear to have even worse brains.

don’t waste your time reading it. <<less

I lost count on how many times I cringe when reading this ugh-

MC was portrayed as someone powerful with ambition at first, but the moment the story start, she is just a standard counter-attacking villainous FL from 1001 other romance novel.

ML & MC interaction could be described in one word, cringe. I glossed so many chapter cause my brain could only take how many cheesy cliche in this story.

Idk what to say anymore. If you're not into cringe, don't read.

Real rating: 2.3/5 easy to understand mtl, each world is quick-paced.

There are some unique aspects of the novel when compared to others with the same trope/setting of "world transmigration with lover" that make me appreciate but also at the same time get bored of it quite quickly. I usually love quick transmigrations/world hopping and have read several novels with the setting and I usually finish them, but this was one of the first ones where I actually felt like dropping halfway.

I liked that the overall goal and villain (lord god)... more>> were set very quickly and started with her already having the experience of several worlds which explained her capabilities from the start of the novel. But with that, I also feel like when they experienced the mini villains which were the leads in other worlds, they were so easy to defeat or shrug off since we're meant to know that there's really only one villain, and it made me kinda get bored of the worlds quickly.

Making the ML "awaken" quite early in each of the worlds to help her or be with her was a choice I appreciated at first but then saw flaws in quite quickly. Almost immediately, when you realize they are awakened, it already gives you a separation from the world they are in, as it becomes more of two outsiders now playing in each of the worlds while playing hide and seek with the lord god. You no longer feel immersed in each story of the novel as it quickly becomes ok what are they gonna do here to pass time/get the mission over with rather than how each story/world contributes to the development of the ML and FL.

Because of that, I don't really look forward to anything in each story as I know that the FL and ML already have a strong unity and capability, and then the narratives of each world become boring.

now here for my useless, painful (?) rant:
Spoiler

This is fine, since some people might like that lightheartedness in novels, however, what I didn't like about it I guess was that it highlighted the hypocrisy of the FL. It was stressed multiple times throughout the novel that the FL admits that she is no Mary Sue or saint when it came to moral matters, but I guess with how bad the "Children of Destiny" aka the leads in each world were so obnoxiously s*upid/bad, it makes you forget that the FL herself isn't the best person either, and the more it went on, I found it harder for myself to like the FL because by the middle of it, she was no different from the other leads in other worlds, just actually smart, and capable.

Her main goal was to take revenge on the lord god and eventually, as the novel went on, was to be with her lover and defeat the lord god. She hated the fact that she was basically a tool/plaything in the eyes of the lord god and was set to just be cannon fodder or an easily disposable chess piece that is forgotten quickly. However, her attitude when going into different worlds and even the actions of forgiving her partner when he was literally just as bad as the bad guys as if it was not his fault was such a s*umbag move that literally felt as if she was playing a game in the worlds; as if every world was a toy and that peoples lives were also quickly forgotten, because her overall goal was to just get the power and achieve her bigger picture of defeating the lord god.

I think one world that really made me feel the hypocrisy of the FL was the zombie one:

We find out that the ML was the same from the previous world and this new world is just time fast forward and because she previously dies, he becomes crazy and decides to destroy the world by allowing the zombie virus to spread and even uses the souls of people to be fed as nourishment aka they can no longer reincarnate and they don't have that "second chance" of life. He technically did what the lord god wanted to do to the FL and in the end she was like "oh huhu he just loves me so much what can I do : (" GURL??? and then she just let it move on... it truly feels like she only cares about herself and her lover and excuses his actions because it was technically the setting/behaviour of the original body/character they possessed (which I disagree with because the body he got was the type to not care about anything too much to destroy the world in the first place so im sure it was really because of the ML) but that also shows how she considers every world as a setting that she doesn't have to take too seriously. I mean it's not like she can't have those feelings, especially with what she's gone through but wow it's not an appealing character.

And something about the authors choice of characters that they made the FL possess also made me feel a bit iffy about her, there were a few times were she possessed genuinely bad characters who did harm and deserved to be punished but because she took over it doesn't matter anymore. If it were the case that these things didn't happen in this timeline it's fine, but there were times where the leads of the world were reborn, and although they themselves are not good, it's like from their perspective, the bad guys will always win.

However, I feel like I wouldn't feel this way if the author just didn't write maybe 4 or 5 out of the 20+ worlds as they probably wouldn't make a difference in the plot that much. But they did, and so it irked me.

[collapse]

super spoiler ahead

Spoiler

However, all of this ties in the end (but in my opinion not really in a good way, knowing that this was really just an experimentation of our ML, and our FL is just technically a system that was meant to learn human emotions through his program and fall in love with him... which is... idk... I feel like all of my emotions and the rant I just had were meant for nothing because they truly were just virtual worlds and I now feel so conflicted HAHAHA no wonder they didn't take it that seriously. It now just feels like this went longer than it should have because of how short the reality world was that literally was the true plot and made all these other worlds almost useless.... you don't really feel that she grows from any of the worlds nor learns much from anything so I feel like the author could have written at most 15 worlds to make this novel a better read lmao plus the extras were pretty boring and I felt somehow that the their relationship and just the characters of the ML and FL were just a bit unrecognizable lmao

[collapse]

Overall though, it's not too big of a problem and I still was able to finish and keep up with the whole novel. This is one of the only novels where I can say, you can freely skip worlds you don't like because they don't mean much to anything HAHAH

If you've always liked quick transmigration, devoted lovers, and strong FL, this novel isn't that bad but it's definitely in the lower tier ones and not really worth a second read. <<less

I have no issues with the writing style, it is easy to understand even in mtl. Some arcs are really creative and out of the box, while some arcs are just redundant and boring. I like how it's not always sub-storylines world after world, somewhere in between the arcs, there will be moments that go back to the main storyline which is MC and lover vs Lord God (this is how it was labeled in mtl). There were a lot of fantasy arcs in the story which kinda overwhelmed... more>> the whole novel since there were a lot of chapters, but why did the author kept repeating the fantasy genre. I finished the main story while skipping some arcs. I didn't bother reading all the fanwai.

The romance is not as interesting as it was in the first couple arcs. See spoiler for this. Basically, it's enjoyable in some arcs, and boring in some arcs and I can't even decide whether to call the novel creative or redundant.
Spoiler

At first, when MC has the memory of her previous lives and does not know ML yet, the romance was thrilling. ML then appears in her next worlds with no memory of his past lives with her, which is still very enjoyable to read. Then, plot twist: ML will regain his memories and he actually knows more about what's going on that MC. Because they both know, the romance (and the story) became somewhat boring and predictable. Several arcs later, ML seals MC's memories and then it's MC's turn to be 'in the dark.' It became interesting again, but lost the thrill again soonafter. Even the fanwai did not bring back the excitement for me, the reader.

Ive read a lot of QTs, and by far this is my favorite in terms of the main couple!! I love them so much. It starts out normal, with them meeting in the first few worlds, and MC only realizing they are the same person because ML ... more>>
Spoiler

proposes to her everytime using the exact same purple ring.

one of my fave arcs in terms of this ring is the female president arc, where they first met in a charity auction and the ML actually put their "wedding ring" (as the MC calls it) for auction. The MC was so mad lmao

[collapse]

Then ML regains his memory in the middle then they transmigrate together, the part where they look for each other in the beginning and trying to confirm the other person is the one they are looking for is the most fun for me.

The arcs are also okay, I did not skip any. So overall, highly highly recommended!!

title is kinda misleading tbh, because the whole time she is mainly against the "lord god" and I've thought that there would be some misunderstanding where the ML would be the "lord god" that she hates so much (but it's not) <<less
