The greatest mistake young hero Bi Qiuhan ever made was getting entangled with Sheng Xiang, the prime minister’s son, and taking him along on his journey through the jianghu.

A frail nobleman, who couldn’t even leave home without bringing his pet, was hardly suited for such tumultuous times. The jianghu was rife with conflicts and danger—traveling with Sheng Xiang was bound to bring disaster, not fortune.

Yet, no matter how hard Bi Qiuhan tried, he couldn’t shake him off or abandon him. And besides, Sheng Xiang didn’t seem entirely useless.

But why did every clue they pursued seem to lead back to Sheng Xiang?

Could this seemingly frivolous nobleman be hiding a deeper secret? Was there an astonishing mystery behind his origins?

“Fragrance Dance”—The ultimate mastermind of the Nine Techniques Dance, Sheng Xiang, is about to tell his story.

This is a difficult one to review.

First, if you skip the Prologue, you'll dive straight into the story and be better for it. Unless you're a history buff and enjoy that kind of information.

Second, if you searched for 'Martial Arts', but forgot to include 'Yaoi', this one will come up. There is no romance. It's just a straight martial arts novel.

... more>> Third, it just... ends. Without rhyme or reason, it's over.

Fourth, I did like the story and I was entertained until the end. There were a few pronoun mixups (common in Chinese translation). And there was a small amount of confusing writing early on.

The MC is clever, engaging, funny. I enjoyed his interactions with other characters and his intelligence that others didn't expect.

And, fifth, were there other chapters that weren't translated? Because there's a mystery in the last chapter that isn't solved but the author definitely pointed it out as something we, the readers, should pay attention to. I feel a bit cheated as I write this.

Thanks to the author as well as the translator, Hellowyellow at Scribble Hub. <<less
