Friedrich is a young man who grew up as an orphan in a rural town, unaware of his origins. He boasts of his extraordinary intelligence, but because of this, he feels inadequate and stagnant in his own ordinary life. After a certain incident, his talents are discovered by a general known as “the living hero of the kingdom” and he becomes a soldier.

‘I want to be someone. I want to be someone who will leave his mark on history.’

With these thoughts in his mind, Friedrich ventures down on a new path, still walking on the battlefield despite the harsh realities that he faces.
