It is an original fighting novel featuring Bunshichi Tanba, a wandering fighter who studies karate and various other martial arts. After being defeated by a young professional wrestler, Toshio Kajiwara, Tanba vows to take revenge by training himself for six years to avenge his humiliation. Tanba then gets caught up in the tide of the fighting world, which has begun to change drastically, and fights against various powerful opponents.
