Well before anything else it's a good translation.

The writing is readable, not hard at all to piece together what's happening, it's just really dull and cliche, even for an isekai. The main character has an age of 8, which seems to be the target audience for this as there isn't even a sense of introspection or forward planning on their part (after the initial circumstance)., or even interaction with the environment.

The writing while readable was boring as hell. It could best be described as "Hey wow that was a flying... more>> yakisoba isn't that neat", "hey wow I just got conscripted isn't that something". It got old quick.

Bottom line 2 stars <<less

It gets very mundane later on, something will happen every like 200- 300 chapters. Besides that it basically the same, Sera fights some monsters, and wins, then goes around reporting here and there. Most of the fights against the monsters can be skipped since the outcome and fight is pretty much copy and pasted, no real tension.

First let´s make this clear, this is a slow life made like a diary, the POV´s mainly the MC doing sometingh and ends the chapter, she´s not a OP MC, but her luck it´s enough to keep going.

More for the ones that want a quick read, a gender bender, fantasy, gacha

This novel is about a world where people get something called a 'Divine Coin' when they reach a certain age, or as a rare monster drop. They then take 10 coins (1 for the first time), pray to a goddess, and they play a slot machine/gacha. They either win a skill (best outcome), bestowed item (can be extremely good or bad), or crafting materials (worst scenario). Our MC Sera, accidentally gachas a skill which lets her access her old room in Japan as she's escaping from her orphanage ran by... more>> the church which steals Divine Coins from children.

This isn't a masterpiece, but imo it's much much better than the 3.2 it has right now (imo it's should be like 3.8 - 4). Like many other JP slice of life novels, this has easy to read simple writing, and does a great job at helping you visualize the world with little details sprinkled around. (The translation does dip a lot in quality when another group picked it up.)

However, also like many JP novels, the MC is very docile and has no ambition, she never tries to be independent. It doesn't help that everything is too straight forward, black and white. Every good person is extremely kind hearted, while anyone against the MC is a mustache twirling villain. <<less
