Worrying about who will inherit the store now, he closes his eyes, only to open them in a world that is not Earth, where the language, culture, customs, and even races are different.
In this world, a small mistake that would have earned him a slap in Jongno could cost him his head.

The fact that MC is a late manifesting Omega feels like a done-before cop out to not have to take a nuanced approach to the Beta discrimination. It would have been far more interesting and vindicating to have the MC remain a Beta and work towards a better future for Betas. In a similar vain to webnovels where the MC/ML recovers from a disability, instead of finding a way to navigate and better the in-story world. I just find it a shame that the answer to the MC’s struggle was to make him no longer be a Beta.
