The synopsis is quite short so I hesistated reading it. However after reading until ch 10, I am lovin it. 😘 This novel tells about a guy who was kidnapped back then return to normal life. When kidnapped, he reads books to understand the world. Now he wants to experience the normal life while applicating theories in life.

In short its like seeing AI experiences the world

Especially the way MC speak. He is like g**gle I would say. When he experiences something new, my heart goes fuwa fuwa. He is so cute. So adorbs. Like seeing baby grown up 😍

For his other personality;

Spoiler

his other personality is baddass. You would see him often when MC met something dark. Well, MC is not scared of blood but he didn't want troublesome things like threatening others. MC always trying to not lose himself so that his other personality cant steal his body. Well so far MC take advantage from his other personality quite easily

[collapse]

If MC is puppy then his other personality is wolf

If MC is AI then his other personality is narcissist

I love them both 😆

Protagonist is like Sheldon Cooper without sarcasm. Had a lot of laugh on his quest to become an ordinary guy. He is pretty much a manipulator at the beginning while FL in ML's first impression is a narcissist. Lol. Its only 200 chapters and honestly feel compressed (College life + detective/profiling sideline + Acting + business). It got a cute happy ending.

I think the manhwa has tremendously improved on the execution of the story. The "show, not tell" has been increased there compared to the novel, and in just 10 chapters, I am invested in the story thanks to the portrayal of the MC being a pitiful, cute puppy-like, but secretly manipulative, and emotionally stunted genius who knows he's abnormal and wants to be normal. The novel on the other hand, is good but not great. I will say that everything in the novel is a slightly lesser version of the... more>> manhwa's.

The story starts with MC being rescued after being kidnapped for a long time and used as labor. He's locked up in a shed/warehouse filled with books, frequently starved and beaten. To escape the ab*se, he developed multiple personalities and read books to pass the time. After being rescued, he reunited with his family, took the korean GED exam with a perfect score, and got into a university.

Thanks to his observational skills, he's able to analyze people to the point where he could pinpoint details with accuracy. It doesn't end there though, and he makes it through society, including business, crime, law, and even acting. I stopped at chapter 110 as I want to read the manhwa's version first rather than the novel.

4.1 stars. <<less

Too much ideas, with bad execution.

There's no tension, no excitement. Honestly, I wish this more like Sakamoto Days or something like that. There's some stake to the story. But this, doesn't have any.

If you peel all the difficult word, what left is empty shell of a story. I want to like this. I like OP MC, detective story, but this just feels flat on all aspect.

I wish this story is told from MC's sister's POV. It'll be better and much more interesting.
