While this novel does start off focusing on our protagonist (Eugene) and his exploration of magic. The author appears to lose interest in exploring magic and having Eugene grow, (his growth and discoveries largely get relegated to time-skips), and instead the author focuses on their true passion: Girls falling in love in a school setting.

Yes, that's right. This novel is actually a romantic comedy. Maybe some readers will be happily surprised by this turn? As for myself, I don't begrudge the author their interests, I just feel like the novel I started to read transformed into another genre halfway, and I lost interest.

Only word that can describe this novel is "WARM". Cuz it really is!

Now a days you only find novel with revenge genre or how they break ties with their family. People rarely shows how a actual relationship is Between you and your family. And I can say that this novel is simply beautiful. The relationship between Eugene and His family, his friends are sooo precious 🥹.

Its a heartwarming story, premise is so freaking interesting. At first I was expecting MC will be struggling hell of a lot but soon it turns into occasionally dramatic but mostly wholesome family story. It has magic, genus MC etc but the main focus is MC bonding with others, his newly founded family, his love and struggling to keep everything from losing all at once due to political circumstances.

And what I loved the most is the translation is freaking well done. Loved the facts and correlation and explainations at the... more>> end of every chapter.
