I genuinely don't understand how the rating can be so low. While it may be a bit too early to judge since it seems like we are gonna be in for a long journey, I think the story has been fantastic so far. Pacing is good, some might feel that it is on the slow side, but it does not feel like it's dragging at all. A lot of side characters are done well. I also enjoy MC's setting a lot and can genuinely cheer for his journey. 10/10 recommended,... more>> pls don't let the rating deceive you : ( <<less

Pretty decent, definitely worth a try.

This is basically a somewhat brighter and more optimistic rehash of "Genius Warlock" (emotionless protagonist with a talent for magic, who can see what others cannot, orphan starting from the bottom, etc) Since it follows a lot of the same story beats and setup, I couldn't help but compare the two.

That doesn't make this novel bad in any case - in fact, I found the initial driving force for the protagonist more compelling emotionally, though the worldbuilding and mystery is arguably lacking compared to Genius... more>> Warlock. I think I prefer the darker aesthetics of Genius Warlock, but the humanity of Ray and his stronger personal connections might be more compelling compared to the inhumanity of Oliver and his comparative flatness as a character.

Overall I'd recommend, and if you want to see the darker original, also check out 'Genius Warlock'. <<less

i like it! it's too early to judge but it's full of potential to become a high-grade read! I love the MC settings, his motivation and his journey to seek the rainbow and more importantly... himself. Every single side character so far been a delight! Not a single boring 2D one! Looking forward to more chapters! more story of Ray and his revenge, rainbow and the people he meets along the way! Good job translator! Very Recommended!
