    I'll start by breaking down the title so you can decide if you want to be click baited or not.

    Global Descent: Nothing to say about this part. Stays true to the words. No clickbait here.

    Farming in the Apocalypse: It's not the apocalypse. All earthlings have just been transported to a 'game world'. So far, there's no farming. Regardless of the failed delivery on the title's part, it does it's job of being catchy keywords.

    Sister-In-Law: Probably the part that holds most weight in this title. You might be wondering about many... more>> things -- Why is the MC with his sister in law? Where's his 'brother'? Is this morally right? Is it okay to target people's fetishes like this?

    First things first, the brother is dead. But fear not, it's not the MC's actual brother. Its like a gangster's 2nd in command calling the lead brother with respect. The sister-in-law in this case is the supposed future wife of the 'brother' who died at the start. Such being the case, there's not much to worry when it comes to morality.

    With the title out of the way, let's get to the actual review.

    Is this worth reading? If you're craving this trope of global game/descent, it's alright. The translation is better than many of similar books but the work itself is as mediocre as can be. If you've read a few of this genre, then you won't find anything different in this.

    The MC doesn't have anything different about him, he just exists and conveniently is good at this new world because he has played a game during the beta, and so far its only him. Mind you, he is dumb as a rock... he doesn't have any quality that makes him likable or would make him a competent person in that world. But that's how 99% of MCs are in these stories.

    The sister-in-law also purely exists for the author to talk about her beauty, her curves, her alluring body, for a paragraph or two in every chapter.

    All in all, it's a standard global game/descent novel. Nothing fresh, nothing horrible. The only thing going for it is its interesting title. That being said, if you haven't read anything of that genre too much, this would be a good enough read to keep you occupied. <<less

    Fairly standard wish fulfillment in concept. Humanity is transported into a game world, based on a game that the MC is one of the very few that played. To complete the fantasy, MC gets a SSS skill, and gets transported along with a stunningly beautiful woman he knew, but would have had no chance with in the old world. Btw, the "Farming the Apocalypse" refers to "farming" monsters. Lots of that happening.

    What makes this so much better than other Chinese novels of this type is that the MC is not... more>> a sociopath. He posts fair trades instead of the usual trope of gouging starving people for food, then sneering at the people who criticize him for it. He also shows consideration for his followers, especially the female lead.

    It's tagged as harem, and there are beautiful women among his followers who are becoming increasingly fond of the MC, but as of chapter 77 he's shown no interest in anyone but the female lead.

    EDIT: Ok, it is definitely a harem novel. Every beautiful female follower of his begins falling in love with him once they reach 100 loyalty. There are a few non-follower women too.

    All of the s*x is just described in euphemisms though. Easily ignorable if you're here for the monster farming and city building. If you're here for smut well... you'll need to use your imagination for those scenes. <<less
