Healer Zed, who sets out to hunt monsters, gets transported to a dimension where robots clean the streets and cars fly. He is taken to a mental health facility as he is mistaken for a vagrant.

David, who is mostly mechanical due to an accident during childhood, suffers from wounds that don’t heal properly. He decides to bring Healer Zed, who is in the mental health facility, to aid him.

“What kind of monsters are those?”

“Those are robots….”

“Monsters must be hunted down. It seems here they are bred for labor.”

“Zed, this place is really a mess.”

David’s kind tone only intensified Zed’s frustration. As David looked up, he had an expression of pure amazement as if genuinely impressed by the mess. Zed withdrew his hand that had been groping the ground.

Can Zed, inexperienced in this new world, get along with the smiling yet morally broken David?

I don’t have much to say because I don’t like writing reviews but, I absolutely loved this novel. It wasn’t overly short to where there wasn’t a good ending but it wasn’t so overbearingly long that I got bored.

I really like the ML possessiveness. I always prefer that in a BL. I also quite like the main character’s personality, as he is not overly righteous, where it’s like a conflict between the ML and the MC but he has enough humanity in him to tone down the craziness in the... more>> ML.

this might be weirdly sadistic, but I really loved when the ML went a little crazy towards the end of the story I’m not gonna get too much detail on that because it’s spoilers but let’s just say I was really enjoying it

if you like the slightly less morally right stories than this is definitely one for you because there’s lots of violence and the ML is very classic BL top, but not necessarily in a bad way. <<less

If you like big beefy bottoms and unhinged, obsessive tops, strap in for an interstellar ride. Zed's a fish-out-of-water who's dropped into a technologically advanced world and mistaken for a crazed vagrant. Luckily his healing abilities save him from a life stuck in a mental health facility and instead lead him to become entangled with David, a beautiful but unhinged man who has plans for revenge.

This novel is fun. There's ample discussion of bulging muscles and Zed being unintentionally funny in an endearing way. The ML's feelings for MC are... more>> quite intense and I enjoyed the way in which they developed:
Spoiler

specifically, the way he's been basically subjected to Pavlovian conditioning through Zed's healing in both good and bad ways. Like, he's in chronic horrifying pain and being with Zed is the only time the pain subsides, so of course he'll grow to associate feeling good with being with Zed. And unfortunately, that also means he believes that Zed will only care for him if he's in pain. And well, that leads to a lot of his unhinged behavior later on, in what I consider to be... understandable? given his very unique circumstances of being... incredibly twisted.

There aren't many side characters and those that do exist aren't given that much screen time, but Edden is fun, mostly for his inner commentary about how odd MC's habits are, how unhinged his boss is or how MC's tiddies are so nice and voluminous. Good stuff. The pacing is solid and the story isn't so long that any parts drag on or start feeling dull. I'd recommend giving this a shot if you enjoy yanderes! Don't be shy, ML's one of the good yanderes, I swear....
Spoiler

he doesn't hurt MC, he just hurts himself and manipulates MC into doting on him - though MC knows that ML's doing this and is fine with spoiling him, so it's okay I guess. Also, surprise, but no SA. Some of the smut does get aggressive (and there was one scene near the end where I got seriously concerned), but ML does genuinely care about not hurting MC and... lol... at one point resents his dad for giving him big-d*ck genes. Seriously.

Be advised though that there are significant self-harm scenes. If that's upsetting, you might want to sit this one out. <<less

It’s a good short story. MC is patient and caring whilst ML is a psychopathic, possessive, and obsessive. My only gripe is that at some points the MC seems foolishly naive that doesn’t match his background and drew me out of the story.

It makes sense that he’s more tolerant and kind of other people given his inherent nature as a healer. In the beginning, it’s shown that while he has his own morals as a healer, he’s not excessively kind and accepts the situation realistically. He comes from an unfair... more>> world that’s constantly fighting so up until this point, it’s admirable he’s been able to keep this sense of self.

Spoiler

However, when Menga shows up as a character, I feel like that kind of gets thrown out the window. MC is smart enough to notice that Menga is not quite right in the head and is mentally deteriorating but does nothing to keep his guard up and just foolishly helps him. It felt like everything was used to further the plot while ignoring MC’s established traits.

It would be one thing if it was established from the beginning that he’s oblivious and kind but MC is ignorant not s*upid. So that whole final situation with Menga was ridiculous and frustrating to read. But I get that it’s a short story and that situation was used as a fast paced way to push the relationship further.

I think it's cute. It has 90% chance of getting extreme dark but MC managed to very patient and considerate. In fact, if their was any other usual MC, they might have freaked out and would have tried run away from Ml.

ML need some serious medical help. His mental health is distorted to the point where if author decide to heal him, it would take at least take 100 chapters.

MC just accept how ML is. Even embrace him with all psycho behaviour. MC is very helpful which surprise me that... more>> why didn't he tried to get ML some mental health care help but I guess, he lacks knowledge about mental problems some sort of, like he understands but he somewhat thinks that it's un-healable since he himself couldn't do being a Healer.

I also want to know if leftover earthlings restored the Earth back somehow or just end up to extinction after 400+ years. I wish author could have given us some closure to this. <<less
