Rereading some of my fav arcs. Great world hoping novel. Arcs is so sweet and interesting. It's about redemption QT novel. ML dote on FL FL is so cute that I can't help but love them. Some arcs is great and some arcs is so boring. Author need to write more of ancient setting and cultivation/martial art setting. Too much modern arcs which make me feel boring. There is no cultivation, martial art and western fantasy, demon/fox arcs.

The first arc ends in chapter 24. For 24 chapters, it's just "I work hard to make money" being retold differently. He was a great playful father in the first arc but a weird, unreasonable father in the second arc. The disconnect between the personalities is a result of him being a 'new' person. He will lose his memories and forget his experiences after every arc, so we won't get an MC who grows after every world. It's more of reading a new character in every arc. Sometimes, the... more>> author even skips the dialogue with the system and jumps straight to the MC being in a new world. The third arc is so interesting romance-wise, but it contains a lot of fatphobic remarks as well as lots of insults to a girl's appearance. Although the MC and FL insulted a mean unlikeable person, it is still uncomfortable to read. It makes me think, "Does this author think of other people this way and scold them like that too?"

The author also often uses the sentence "men are more rational while women are more emotional." This has been used in several arcs already. The romance is ok, kinda fluffy, but it's easy to note the misogynistic undertones of the story. <<less

This should be a 4.5. I'm giving it less cuz there's some arcs that was a miss for me.

There's a problem with MTL. Chapters got messed around, some have been cut. Otherwise, I had fun reading this.

At first, I was quite hesitant because of the rather low score. However, pushing through (and because I have a weakness for the 'good man' bible), I actually liked it. Some arcs touched sensitive topics such as mental illness, depression, manic disorder, etc. I liked their portrayal.

I think it's better to call this a series of one-shots, rather than a usual QT. Despite the different points though, I love this story so much. I'm adding it in the same level as s*um Male. <<less

Hm... it's not a bad novel... I actually kinda like how hemakes it so he doesn't go ooc. But it really gets repetitive. Mainly because his objective is usually to make a woman the og let down happy.

The current tl lost interest and decided to drop it so for now 39.2 is the last one. I just hoped they finished this arc before dropping but I totally get not wanting to after losing interest...

Well, I personally like this novel. But yeah, this was back to preference.

Basically, MC transmigrating to new world and always got his memory erased so he always think that he was the original body owner who got back to the past.

This novel was not have a great romance, just moderate. He love her, maybe (he said he love her but I dont think so), doting on her, yes, let her do anything that make her happy, yes. But in some arcs the romance feel tasteless.

The point that make me like... more>> this novel is MC prioritized his spouse/small family happiness rather than revenge for something that even didn't happen in their current life. Don't get me wrong, he did revenge, but only for people who also did crime in their second life (current life). He didn't go face-slap/revenge for something that only happened in their previous life (when the original body owner lifes).

I, personally, see the original body owner life as a probability as this person take bad choice in his life, then MC comes to make another probability that different, more considerate to people who hurt because of his previous life's action, and wiser. It also shows the butterfly effect for his every action, that plot not always set on the stone, that story can change because people make different choices. The antagonist did get retribution, not for their past deed but for their crime in the second life. It should be like this.

I think the main point of this novel is about redemption. MC redeem the original host's beloved person from every mistake that he did in his previous life. Not to revenge or face-slap. This actually makes me like it more, because MC knows that he did a mistake, a big mistake in his previous life, so he must correct himself and not go around revenge for other people who don't even make a mistake yet. He didn't have the right to do so as he was a sinner himself.

This book is not perfect, has many flaws, but I think it worth read. This book may be not suitable for people who search for bloody/hard revenge as it not the main point of this story, but if you want a doting romance, fluffy, dependable MC, kinda slice-of-life, this book is good enough.

Oh, the plus point of this book for me is there are many arcs when MC got children in the middle of the arc and have a good bond (or at least good interaction) with his child. I like childcare so, yeah, I like this book for this plus point.

PS: some arcs maybe have a boring plot for me, but the rest was good. <<less
