Guide to Having Multiple Aliases in a Literary Cosmic World

Recently, many great literary figures from around the universe have gathered together, making all readers greatly thrilled.

There are those who write dog-blooded love stories, getting bashed on the StarNet’s front page every time they update;

There are those who write epic masterpieces, exploring the five-thousand-year history of a desolate planet from the perspective of ordinary people, filled with heart-wrenching life and death plots, making it unbearable for readers to continue reading;

There are those who write mystery and detective stories, with readers suspecting every day that the author is actually a wanted criminal in the universe;

And there are various others who create new genres but are short-lived, such as sword and magic, Eastern fantasy, holographic storylines…

The most peculiar thing is that they all come from the same planet!

A certain star: Actually, I’m the real one.

In this treacherous universe, mental powers can be stimulated by literary works.

Therefore, novelists are highly respected but have an extremely high assassination rate.

The star, having transmigrated from another world, chose to write to ensure its survival and health, while also wearing disguises to put on a show:

Today, alias A and alias B, as literary figures, belittle each other, each mocking the other’s writing as being like mushrooms;

Tomorrow, alias C, with a burst of inspiration, suddenly writes a BE and wields a knife;

The day after tomorrow, alias D falls ill of a terminal illness and dies…

The star: Today’s literary world is also very exciting!

Gano, a powerful Zerg warrior, is cold and taciturn. However, after escaping from the Zerg race, he was short of money and had to find a job.

To hint at his combat ability, he specifically wrote “proficient in multiple racial languages” on his resume.

Gano: So I’m skilled in assassination and infiltration.

The star: A translation talent? You’re the one!

Gano: ?

Later, Gano lived a life of translating, proofreading, fending off fanatical readers, protecting the safety of the star, and secretly learning to write love letters.

This was a whimsical and lighthearted story filled with imaginative plots.

The synopsis confused me at first but once I started reading things made more sense. Basically, the MC is an earth born human who wakes up in an interstellar world in the body of a literal star (a self-luminating celestial body). In this new world, all cognizant creatures suffer from inherent mental confusion which inhibits their abilities to think, react and feel. The only way to clear up this confusion is to consume profound literature, which forces one to think... more>> critically and explore what it means to be alive. This naturally makes being a writer a distinguished, lucrative and even dangerous profession because those whom can sway the peoples' minds naturally wield tremendous power. Through various events, the MC becomes a writer. To protect his identity, he uses a bunch of different pseudonyms and pretends to be several individuals to throw the public off his trail. Each alias is assigned a different personality and writing style. Collectively, his aliases are known as the writers of the Blue Star, the planet the MC pretends he is from, which is modelled after Earth. I thought this setting was really fun to read about and I liked how

the MC would act as the different aliases on his official website and create entire fake dialogues to make the aliases seem more real. I loved how the readers would extrapolate on these fake conversations and assume so and so authors were fighting or secretly in love because of the frequency of replies and etc. I also liked the snippets we got of the MC's various writings as well. The MC dabbles into many genres and I liked how distinctive each work was.

Word of warning, the MC meets the ML pretty early on but their romance is a slow and subtle one. Both are dull regarding feelings so it takes a while for them to be together officially. I don't think the ML will be everyone's cup of tea because
Spoiler

he's very much the stoic and silent type but I liked them together. The MC is easily excitable and sometimes out of touch with the interstellar world so I thought having the ML be more resourceful and steady made sense.

Something else to note is that if you're a stickler for scientific logic then you probably won't enjoy this story lol. To fully enjoy this quirky tale you have to suspend your disbelief. I think right at the beginning the author says something like all the scientific reasoning in this story is made up which is apparent when you start reading. That being said, I read this story like I would a xianxia novel or a Marvel comic. The science behind it isn't grounded in reality but it makes sense in world and that's good enough for me. <<less

It was a pretty fun journey. MC makes many aliases to deceive people into believing that he's a (citizen) part of a Planet named Blue Planet. At first even his companion ML believes that. MC has soo many fun aliases. Each has their own personality and relationship. They are all writers. Author shows their work so it feels like u are reading another novel inside a novel. The funny part is that there are female aliases as well as males. ML is a zerg. He doesn't have many emotions and... more>> actually discovers some thanks to MC. ML is pretty powerful and usually helps MC escape from unwanted attention (or just fleeing after announcing that one of his aliases work will be not continued) It was a fun novel. The interactions between aliases, MC and ML's relationship were all good. I had a lot fun.

I forgot to add something. ML couldn't find any job as people there are kinda scared of zergs so he decided to do the best he could and become an assasin. MC read his resume and takes him as a translator as he doesn't know a lot of languages. ML holds dearly into the first Job he had ever taken. So they kinda accompany each other in this vast and endless space. <<less

So far it's pretty good!

I would definitely give it a 4.5 stars, I personally liked-

... more>>
Spoiler

that the romance here isn't to fast but not to slow, it's kinda understandable if romance here was not fast since the male lead was a zerg and a mechanical one at that.

These readers from other galaxies are pretty funny hahaha, many parts of this novel have some multiple pov of readers and dialogue of the novels they're reading, which added a bit of fun in the story, just reading their reactions are hilarious~

And lastly ofc I'm here for the vests! The MC's vests are based on the blue star aka earth, The interactions between vests and each having their own distinguish personality definitely convinced others that their are different people- (which is not the case haha)

Honestly might re-edit this again when I tried finishing the novel with no distractions hehe~ლ (´ ❥ `ლ) <<less
