Recommendation - read it, at least the first 20 chapters before deciding if you want to continue or not.

I'll start by how I found this novel when only the first 16 chapters were translated, to which I found the story to be very interesting as in the MC is a leader type character not some OP as hell standalone guy. Even tough he is OP, kinda. After which I continued by sacrificing a part of my soul and reading the machine translations for it. Anyways, It'll be a great thing... more>> if you played Diablo 2 already since it is quite integral to the story but i'll say that the author does a find job of describing stuff in it, though that's only for the first Act since from then on he starts shortening the time spent in game. I remember them childhood days when I was 6 and I played diablo 2 and I didn't even get part the first act because I somehow didn't save the game and exited directly resulting in me playing it from the start every time and surprisingly I still loved it.

MC's personality is pretty decent, actually, a lot better than id expected because he has the makings of a young ruler but just needs experience. One of the main things I liked in this is that the MC because he's from the modern era, starts by slowly introducing better technologies and customs and clothing and government to his city. Because if he didn't do that i'd be really disappointed.

Well pretty much a 100% read it rating from me because it is one of the few novels which I found so interesting that I decided to read the mtl s for it, I mean even atg or tdg didn't deserve that honor, tmw I would have but the translations have caught up to the latest one.

For alternate recommendations id say none actually, because this story is quite unique and difficult to say if i've read another story with a similar setting. <<less

Frankly I believe it's good. It seems to be a fun fast paced story with elements of real world games. The MC is pretty funny and the grammar isn't bad. Also it seems to have very fun berserk-er elements in it. Although he has a ability it has yet to be explained. From what I've seen I'm taking a guess that its one of the OP abilities that reincarnates get. (I'm starting to believe god has a rule where if you reincarnate with your memory, Special Ability Get.)

It takes a new spin, combining two classic scenarios, “reincarnated in a different world, ” and “gaming system.” Traveling between both the Diablo game series, and his new world as the king of a weak nation. It skips the slow introduction that most series have to set the place of the world, and we find out more about both world as the protagonist does. It well written and awesome.

Hmm, pretty descriptive in its gore, intestines, blood, viscera, when handling mooks or enemy death, but then switches over to things like internal damage and spitting blood kind of wounds ala wuxia for main characters.

Uh, I suspect this will be rather wuxia in girl gathering as well... But I might be surprised! Pleasantly, even!

Anyway, review: Someone named Fei died, and is transported over to the body of a young king, Alexander, who is (according to the translation) called a ret*rd by all who knows him, as in actually mentally-challenged,... more>> and not just foolish.

His kingdom seems pretty small, and is currently is besieged in active warfare. The world seems like a mix of mid-fantasy and wuxia, with an ugly fatass mage bully, several combat ‘masters’ on both sides of the war (not too clear on the limit of their abilities, though they have shown major physical boosts, but there are ranks in stars, and in moon?), and priests with healing magic mentioned (they already escaped the kingdom before the battle).

Fei -in Alexander’s body- got a special cheat, which is not that spoilery so I’m gonna outright mention it here: He can enter Diablo, yeah, that old Diablo game, though it’s actually the second game.

So far, the translations only had Barbarian picked out for him, which turned him into a close combat beast out of the game, and the latest translated chapter (16) tells him that he can make new characters... Unclear whether he can only use Diablo, or whether he can even take items out of the game, which is the important question of this chapter.

There’s not enough problem resolutions yet to tell how the MC’s mind work or how the plot might progress, so I’ll be watching for future chapters. <<less

Pretty good actually

I didn't know what I was getting into but now I'm glad.

Just read chapter 3 and the plot seems interesting enough.

Might be because I have nothing to read right now :D so my opinion might be biased. But definitely give it a try if you have nothing to read :)
