He literally can destroy entire capital with prepared spell, lol. There is no even point of talking about someone stronger, even those so called S magic knights, won't be able to do against MC in my opinion.

Anyway, this novel deserve rating... Around 2.5/5. There is not much story of the world and just random appearing characters which will die to MC, except for heroine of course <<less

I was looking for a random novel an I found this gold interesting reincarnated as a spirit monster like ghost or wraith manipulation of death magic that he developed as a monster. The story is good with Shu keep acting as a mister and doesn't care about who he kill and iris relationship is great as she got a development for her strength too.

The MC is smart and likable and there is no harem which is awesome, MC has only one fMC who follows him around, she is s*upid naive, maybe crazy? She is definitely not annoying tho

The story is not really bad but for me I like it... more>> so I will give it 10/10, it definitely has potential for perfect manga and anime adoption, he is ruthless only cares about fMC he's literally death it's self, Isekai, action, it's MT translated, names and other things keep changing but it's alright

I had no high hopes for this but I'm actually very impressed. The MC and Heroine were beautifully executed here! This even has its own magic system.

However, I think people forget that this is just Syosetu WN, 80% of the time there will be mistakes.

I have seen so many terrible adaptations, but I sincerely think this one is worthy of a Manga.

But I'm also very confused on the status, 2 LN completed, yet WN is over 400 chapters? I truly hope WN is translated to the end so I can... more>> at least appreciate this one. However, I'm having a hard time reading it unless I use phone and shut my Wi-Fi, or it'll lead me to Ads! I can't even comment. Am I the only having this issue?

Heroine being an airhead and not annoying for once, it's quite rare. Especially with an MC who complements her personality. Makes a good comedic duo.

Mediocre Story, mediocre translation.

Every enemy character in this story is a complete moron who goes out of their way to throw themselves into the meat grinder that is the main character.

Regardless of any prior scheming or plans, they drop it all and run headfirst to die pointlessly.

The main character is also quite s*upid, for whatever reason he often fights physical attackers in close range despite being a mage and pays the price for it, albeit in a disappointing manner because this story has zero stakes and the main couple are... more>> never in any real danger.

Now onto the translation, this is obvious mtl ran through an editor, names of people and things will randomly change multiple times in the same chapter with zero consistency. In one of the early chapters an enemy character swaps through 4 different names randomly throughout a chapter.

The names of organizations suffer the same problem, the names will often go from a western name to a Japanese one again with zero consistency.

Overall this is a disappointing read, the characters are all very dumb and the translation will leave you scratching your head.

"Instant Death Magic by The King of Underworld"

MC Started out as a weak ghost monster and walked his way to be stronger in around 30 chapters. However as the story progresses it shows that he is strong enough to deal with most adversaries. He is strong but not without considerable weakness and he is pretty clever to choose his fights. Even so, author tend to make MC quite dumb with his repertoire of magic, he let go his enemy instead of using the remaining cards he had.

Surprisingly, the story does... more>> not feature a harem MC. There is only one FMC and MC sticks with her pretty much for the entire story so far. Perhaps in the future both of them will be "Gods" one reigns on death while the other reigns on life.

The translations are decent but often inconsistent for names, terminologies, and pronouns - you know the drill. Its confusing at times but you can skimp over for most of them given they will not be carried over to the next arc.

All in all its a decent read. A decent time waster, see it as a death god slice of life causing trouble left and right. To be fair, he didn't cause a mess for most of the part - not until something bad done to the FMC at least. <<less

So... This is the template where something big and/or traumatic happens at the beginning to justify why the is OP, but then it changes to something completely different.

I think story from there is meant to be action-adventure and romance (?) ; World Travel™ and all that —it's just boring. A bit too fast, bare-bones world-building, lame —as opposed to cool— chuunibyou... And then it became worse and more boring over time.
