This is so f*cking good.

I Stan her so hard. If she was a real person, I would be such a big fan of her!! Also the ML does not disappoint either. Characters are so well written I'm shook for this genre.

About the best example of a cute romance between a CEO and a female celebrity. Most examples of such stories are filled with dogblood, and the female leads are either Mary Sues or fragile white lotuses. If we manage to avoid this the story tends to be rather light on romance. Here the story is clearly romance-centric without all the pitfalls.

Reading this for the second time. And lamenting why again and again I can't find any trace of my review 🥺

Sweet!!! That's soft!!! And Su Yi's character is so refreshing 🥺🥺

I don't need to comment anything. Jiang Zi Bei-Nim skillfully creates enchanting characters and pairs them with the most suitable and perfect characters. I really liked the dynamics of FL and ML.

... more>> The entertainment story is just a backdrop to this story, no drawn out money movie depiction. The slap in the face is always there and creates excitement in itself.

Well a story that even read multiple times always leaves the same effect.

Light read. More of a little girl that was saved by young soldier, after few years turned into. Supporting actress always playing a villainess saved again by the CEO, they're all same person.

Story shows the progress of how she chased the ML, thawing his cold heart. They got together soon. No major issues, just them developing their relationship and minor issues while filling on set.

Story ended after their wedding.

no one ever says anything about FL profession or her reputation

yes, ML’s mom n sis didn’t like her before meeting her

but they never behaved in an inappropriate way they quickly accepted her as family

A nice cn romance to read!!! Aaaaahh happy that I choose to read novels with were finished for years. This is def one of the classics. Modern entertainment and FL is not always the female lead on shows/movies. Her development in her career was 2nd female lead most of the time /villainous. She's not OP and does not come from a hidden rich family like other novels haha [taking a break fr stories like that atm]. FL got the guts to find a way to elevate her lifestyle and not... more>> lowering her bottom line.

FL knows what she's doing and that's one of her strengths even according to her best friend agent. Ml?? He's definitely a green flag!!! Ahhhhh They met through coincidences and + FL actively pursuing Ml, good relationship development. There's nó too much understanding. Fl& ML supports and trusts each other. Not too much in-law fighting too. Kinda funny about their wedding proposal hahaha. <<less

This is so good!! A fluffy, relaxing story. The chemistry between the leads and how they fall in love is written really well. Its Cute and entertaining. There is enough drama to not make the fluffy story boring. But there is no unnecessary drama either. Its one of my favorite comfort novels!

This is the first BG novel I've read from Jiang Zi Bei.

It was really sweet and heart warming but it didn't give me that same feeling of shrieking due to excitement and sweetness of the characters as when I did when I read the author's BL novels.

This is a feel good novel and Su Yi and Chu Ying are well rounded characters that fit so well together. Their love story was unhindered but they'll encounter some sad situations that they were able to overcome together.

Good for a no brain read. A pain to read on the translators site because there's no next and previous buttons which I assume is because the TL wants double the ad revenue, which ok but a pain to binge with.

I hesitated to read because I worried a little that it was MC presses her face against cold ass ML to catch him, and with the description.. the description was a lie though because ML doesn't care about her image and MC is comfortable too.

A good thing I can say... more>> is that there's no angst and almost the whole cliche ML's parents objects to actress daughter in law didn't really happen so that was nice. Lots of elements that never came into play or were wrapped up unfulfillingly.

Spoiler

For example for things I can remember- assistant girl cliche betrayal multiple times, not really satisfying conclusion.

dropping her phone on a attractment ride- I was waiting for some media person to get their hands on her old phone but NOPE

Telling her fans no pictures while she was shopping which is understandable but the author made sure to emphasize the fans unhappy expression - nothing

ML beats people a few times and it's all wiped away by his mighty corporation backing.... ok

Nephew looked like he was gonna have a school bullying rescue arc- nope he just ups and dies with two mentions in the whole novel lol. When MC was buying toys for him I didn't even realize she was buying toys for him.

Right after he dies and MC buys his ashes, sis is all wrapped up nicely and stabbed too. I was also waiting for a whole media expose about MC's family background or something like her older sis trying to say she wasn't supported by her rich actor sis or some sh*t but nada there too.

They teased the bestie agent chick's relationship issues for so long and then it wrapped up in like a paragraph.. and then boom in epilogue she got together with her first love from high school eeeeeh.... who's also introduced as a notorious playboy (???) but somehow turned a leaf randomly in the middle of the story to chase for her?? Why can't authors let some side characters end single? The side character ship didn't even have enough screentime to be built

I've finished reading this since a long time ago, still I can't forget every single details of this story despite reading other novels after. Too bad, since I want to reread.

Anyway, this story is so cute and fluffy, perfect for someone who's not a fan of dog-slapping plot. There are b*tches, yes, but they handled them well. The characters are also amazing. FL is confident and cheeky, ML is a formwr military and a doting boyfie.

I love this. 5/5

I loooove MC's strong approach into getting our ML. She's also great at her career and friendships. ML is your typical cold-faced guy who's only soft for MC - or in this case, only hard for MC lol. It's so nice to see MC being so excited for her interactions with ML. Their excitement for each other being in a long distance relationship is realistic.

The only thing I found not so well done in this novel is the attempt to make a sob-story for MC's relative. I will... more>> not be putting spoilers, but I think author failed to pull off that part. <<less

First, I really liked the FL. She was confident in her own skin and didn't need anyone to validate her existence. She was also not easily intimidated which was good to see given the insecure FLs we usually get. I was also glad to see a normal FL who didn't have to be a doctor, singer, hacker, racer, etc., and who didn't need to be the lost child of some big family to be worthy of the ML. Lastly, she wasn't an overly prudish girl who views s*x as something... more>> that must be endured instead of enjoyed.

Second, the ML was also great. He also treated the FL well and especially pampers her after falling in love. He respects her and never does anything to make her feel uneasy.

Third, the story is set in the entertainment industry and although it follows a lot of common troupes, it isn't distasteful. My only problem with the novel is that I feel that some things were too rushed and perfunctorily dealt with. Other than that, it was very good and I am sure to reread it in the future. <<less

Gosh, I love this one, and no objection allowed!! Thanks translator and editor!! Done a very wonderful job.

In the beginning I was hesitant after reading the description. Coz I don't really like the idea of FL chasing after the ML. Nothing against feminism here, just preference. But I adore the FL!! And I'm glad that the ML reciprocated dottingly as well quite soon!!

Wish to read to read other works from this author, I love the writing style and the easy light fresh story line.

So far, i've always read chinese novels that has made into a drama. I often can not imagine about the novel's story/plot if it has yet made into drama (hehe). So I had a really hard time searching for the right novel. I read the first-second chapter and then I dropped it. And it went on and on until I found this gem!! TT I really love the storyline, it got me hooked from the very start and it keeps going on! Love both the MC and ML sooo much.... more>> And the tension is really good too tho hahah!!! Yeah def 5/5 from me! :) The translation is sooo good!! I dont know much about the grammar (bcs english is not my first language), but I understand every sentence very well!! Thank you so much for the translation! <<less
