MY REVIEW: I've been tired reading with too much world hopping and rebirth stories, I sometimes dunno which charas are which. Then I found some gems like this which is Fluffy, smooth sailing (though yeah there are some small difficulties here and there). The husband (ML) is doting and our MC can stand on his own^^ our lil buns are also cute

Again this was made 2020 using my cp since my laptop[5yrs+old] is vry slow/crashing once in a while. I mtled it with 3 difff websites and am also Chinese/english teacher during that time. English is not my 1st Language.

It's my 1st time using wattpad just to post the story WHILE reading it. You can check I did it in 1 month. Sometimes the corrections were not saved properly. Thankful for those who comments there and helps to correct it. Although I did change some erros of it I dunno until what chap hmm....

When I finally got a new laptop after months of working and tried to repost my saved Proofread wordfiles of all the chapter -from cp [ these chapter files are updated and with proper phrasing]. UNFORTUNATELY There's a time my cp needed to be cleaned up/all the files&apps. When I want to finally reUpload the Updated proofread chapters using my new laptop😭 I realized the finished chapters are gone due to the cleanup *punches the wall in frustration

These four stars are not for the tler but the story. I really appreciate the story but the tler? I'm sorry but the tl quality is shit. If you're gonna read this, don't read it from yumeruri, read it from others. I read this from Yumeruri and pls, I regret all my life choices now. It's one of the worst quality, seem as if straight out of mtl— like at some points, even the pronouns are wrong or the names are not written correctly.

I had a difficult time understanding what was going on & I had to kill my brain cells trying to figure out the meaning of the translation. The horrible translation killed my love for binge-reading off after chapter 30, but I still forced myself to finish it. Btw the remaining 5 extras weren't even translated.

the MC, a shou, has been drugged with an aphrodisiac (yes, already, lol) and the ML's response was to take him back to the MC's room to sleep it off. When the MC couldn't tell him where his room was, ML took him to his own room, ran a cold bath, put him in with his clothes still on (so no copping a feel, although RIP to MC's cell phone) and LEFT HIM ALONE! That's right, ML isn't taking a drugged MC to mean that he can take advantage!

This novel is too bland. The story idea is a good set up but the authors writing style is too immature. Seemed more like a good rough draft rather than the final story.

1. Nice ML

Decent, has self-control, isn't a f*cking douchebag for the most part. Edit: He's a confusing ML for me. Is nice but his existence feels weird for me to read.

2. Cute fluffy moments

It's nice fluff if you throw away your brain and only focus on the fluff instead of the plot. 3. Mpreg

Im not particularly into it, but if you're hungry for mpreg no matter the quality of the novel, this ones for you.

Cons:

1. Consistency

Mainly character's thoughts -> action. The character would think 'this' the chapter before, and the chapter after, he would do something that contradicts 'this'. It happens quite a few times.

2. Writing Style

It feels like reading a description. Read the raws, no idea how the translation turned up like, but the raws felt bland to read. There were moments that could have been way more interesting if it were written in a different way. 3. The freakin' romance

Absolutely no explanation on how they fell in love. Was it love at first sight? Did they get gradually attracted to each other? Was it lust? It gets mentioned briefly that ML looks at MC and gets attracted to him and spends time with him and fell in love with him in a span of 7 days, but it's not written in a way that suggests the novel has a good romance. Long story short, their falling in love seems forced and fake. (And why is the relationship progress like a freakin' rocket ship? It's blasting at the speed of light, In 2 months they're doing something I wouldn't dream of doing in at least 2 years:

4. Characters and novel in general (Explanation for why I dropped it.)

It gives a feeling of wishy washiness. The novel lacks clarity (i still don't know the s*x of the baby at this point of the novel, I don't know if my brain just skipped it or the author left it out, and you'd think I would have picked up on it at some point, but no I didn't.), the characters feel wishy washy (not their personality but their actions. The MC often decides to go with with the flow despite it contradicting with his personality. He can be courageous this scene and suddenly becomes shy next scene, or stubborn and decisive then suddenly he's indecisive and easily persuaded. It feels incredibly weird for me to read.) . The novel seems to have a hard time deciding what to do, and the romance plot line and the face-slapping feels like it's randomly decided on a whim.

All of this is from my perspective so I can't guarantee that you'll see it the same way as me, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it.

Tbh, it's an OK average story. I don't put it into 'good' category for a simple reason I'll explain below. But first.

Summary... Again, "hooking up" sounds like they met and it was a cruise passion. But MC actually was naively sold off by his "friends" for benefits. Sounds kinda dramatic, and actually very contrasted for the rest of the novel. ML saves him and only after consideration helps drugged MC with relief, so baby comes from this time. Why I put this into "OK" category:

• Weird drops of drama, it's so episodic and short-lived I don't get why it appeared. If you take it out it won't be any different, some things dont even matter. Like the two who sold him for benefits took photos and spread rumors he's a kept man. Unrealistically it spread like fire and was too one-sided. Later disappered like nothing and didn't affect story/characters at all. MC's attachement to live-streaming and keeping up both gaming and sculpting.. like it didn't really matter. Same happens with all the "drama", it appears, but soon disappears without any effect on the story. There's no trajectory of the story except getting together and being happy.
• Other part which I thought was meh is the secondary pairing, I want to think I read some wrong version, but the sudden insert of a new "couple" here and there where one guy is straight and other is chasing him is weird number one. But basically they didn't get any conclusion, which was even stranger. Like one being chased realized he's not that against the other person actually (though he did his research in a weird way and later the bed scene had a strong wiff of non-con).
• A bit too much for the character settings. I understand the kindness and goodness, I understand people can be good in academic achievements and sports, but saying how MC is good here, good there etc. was a bit over the top. Also it didn't really matter and looked silly, e.g. when MC had to play a match is when he started feeling really not OK to his later examination and finding out he has a child, there's no need to make him really great at basketball to put him on court. That's why I say it's silly. Same for ML, he's the richest (author forgot the widest network detail), but did it matter? Not really.
• The weirdest thing I couldn't forget about MC is how he decided to keep the child because of the Internet discussion. It really felt like not his own decision, but something he looked up.

Maybe without all that weird bull it's a pretty fluffy and loving story, but does it matter in the end? Nope. The story is how it is, I think it's an OK one, but won't fall into category where I'd recommend it even for one read. <<less

This story had potential but the author decided to 'tell' not 'show'. The writing always seemed like the author had to justify and explain all the time because of xxx MC or ML had to or felt xxx.

An Absolutely Wonderful Slice Of Life Domestic Bliss Full of Fluff Heartwarming Loving Novel!!!

Oh it's very Slice of Life all right. It was very well written. The Translation though, they has lot of Typos with the 'I' that should be translated as They/He/She. And the She/Her that should be He/Him. So yeah, the flaws is only in the Translation with the POV or the Gender. Ignoring that, it was still very Good Translation! Easy to read and all really. Believe me, I know bad Translated novel or the Pure MTL... more>> without Editor. And this novel didn't go through that horrible thing, thank god!

Has few drama/conflict at the beginning, the rest mostly fluffy and heartwarming between the Main CP. Both MC and ML are Wonderful, and the Supporting Characters all are Wonderful!

There's also Side CP. Usually I don't like Side CP to have very long story, because usually not many author can write them right and end up make their story seems more interesting than the main CP but not in a Good way. Thank God this author did great with their Side CP. Yes it has Multiple Chapter. Yes it rather long. But their story is actually really interesting. Actually I was very interested with this story at first; however, I have no choice but to drop this at some point because of the translation. It was like I was reading a MTL story, it was so hard to understand. I tried giving this a second chance but what I got was a headache instead. I really hope there will be a better translation of this story.
