My expectations and the experience of reading this one is totally different. This is a quick transmigration, I think this is my first qt, I actually think I don’t like qt, but this one is good imo. I do like this one a lot. This is probably my favorite QT novel so far.

Of course, this follows the generic QT formula. Reads like various short stories with each world. The reason for the QT seems shallow at first before the author puts depth to it revealing secrets.

The thing that makes me relate to the MC is probably his transition of, 'oh damn, I really want to keep living but I'm sus of my boss' to 'I know my limits AND I know what I want.' MC is smart, and even though he turns into a lovesick idiot, that doesn't stop him from using critical thinking skills.

Of course, when it comes to QT novels. I never really look for depth into why MC transmigrates. Again, I read them as short stories so I may not have the same depth of critique of others. But any novel that can make me sit on it for days on end is a 5 star for me. <<less

Started somewhat ok but the build up was choppy and the climax unsaticefying.

Found the backstory both bland and disjointed. Still don't get why the MC and ML fell in love the (real) first time.

The side characters in the different worlds were very boring and illogical.

Well one of the best QT novels I've read minus some plotholes in the later arcs.. but thts ok😅. Recommended to anyone who likes a non repetitive plot & doesn't like to drag things on.... for remaining chps head to chrysanthemum garden.

one of my most favorite qt novels. Highly recommended although the worlds arent that unique, its a good book. This story is fluff and not to angsty. Doesnt have that much drama and just this is a very great story. I enjoyed it so much.

I love this! It was fun and not too heavy to read. There was a good amount of dog-blood and face-slapping which made it interesting.

In my opinion, there were good arcs and also not-so-good arc (the apocalypse arc). It's not that the apocalypse arc was badly written or uninteresting, it's just that the ending felt forced and abrupt.

My favorite arc was when the MC became a dog yao. He was really cute and super adorable in there.

After having read many quick transmigration novels, this one stood out to me in a good way. It's not anything super new and different, but it was just a really enjoyable read. I actually wish there were more arcs or extras since I wanted to see more of these characters after I finished reading.

The arcs never felt like they were dragging on for too long and the interactions between the MC and ML were always a highlight. The scheming and face slapping toward the plot characters was fun.

If you're familiar... more>> with the world hopping genre, the types of arcs you see in this book will feel familiar (modern dog blood plots, emperor storylines, zombie apocalypse world, interstellar world, etc), but I think the author did a great job with these types of arcs and I really enjoyed seeing how the MC would handle them and how they'd fall in love in each world. <<less

Cute quick transmigration story, not my favorite one but definitely better than most of them in the qt genre

I did dropped this novel a few months ago but came back to finish it and boyy I did not regret my decision 🤧

Kinda wish there was an extra or two to see more of the chemistry between MC and ML after the backstory was revealed hwhwhwhwhwh ✊😔✊💪🤧

A solid 4, the synopsis is something you can completely ignore. The MC is capable enough not to rely on the golden thigh, then again, it's not that he wants to hug it, even if he's not seeking it out, golden thigh comes knockin' (so he definitely is not a flower vase weak shou that goes down crying 'aiiyaaa' with a push).

The main plot is persistently there in all arcs and it ties in well with the end (not something half-baked like some novel Beloved Husband that squeezes it half... more>> assed in a summary all together to make do.) There's plentiful of emotional struggle of both main characters in the story, as well as detailed flashbacks.

Arcs themselves are decently fleshed out, the side characters are simple but some thoughts had been put into them with thrilling or emotional twists.

Story has been a very smooth read thanks to the translators and the entertaining writing of author.

Only complaint would be the ML in the first arc came on too strong, but the scenes were hot enough to ignore. Also taking one star off for being too mainstream, classic QT host, classic ML type, classic arcs.

Actually a Yaoi BL, the s*xual tension during there make out scenes are on 140% (so sad about it not being smut). No story stalling either (like padding word counts with too many arcs that's dead-pan boring with nothing happening Beloved Husband, still got a terrible aftertaste from that crap), yay! <<less

I like this novel very much. It’s different from other transmigration novel that every things is so easy and Can’t feel much of MC’s emotion. MC is not too fake or too Mary su. And when reading, you can feel joy in the tasks and it’s not boring with same routine of plot in every wold.

This is one of my favorite novels and a few wold hopping novel I can finished. Many wold hopping novels was abandoned because of Mary su, so it’s boring and not exciting at all.

Ok, so the synopsis is completely misleading and that has nothing to do with the actual story, I really liked it, kind of felt like I was missing a part of myself when it ended though. Not because it was THAT good, but because the ending... I don’t know how I feel about the ending. It’s a weird ending, like they’re in a dream but they’re not. It’s dark yet happy atmosphere? I don’t know, it contradicts a lot. Besides that, the story was interesting.

I'm speechless, as I think this is one of the novels with the most mind blowing plot I have ever read till now.

Recommended. It is one of the world-hopping novels that I love. I love how each world keeps adding mysteries for the readers to solve and how it added interest for me, to the point, that I got invested and wanted to learn the story.

The romance plot is bittersweet, the connection between the male lead and the main character is sad but in the end, they finally got the happy ending they deserve. It has a lot of scheming that is slowly being unveiled. As a reader, we joined the MC... more>> into realizing the plot within the world-hopping that is given to him as a mission.

Favorite and would definitely reread! It was a really fun, easy read. I devoured over 100 chapters in a few days. Very low thought, don’t think you’re getting the next Pulitzer when you’re reading it. After the first couple of worlds, MC and ML have instant attraction when they meet. The standard “super powerful, domineering ML” but he’s surprisingly not r*pey and very doting on MC. He’s definitely of the mentality “happy wife, happy life”. The arcs are fun, none of the world building is particularly expansive or ground... more>> breaking. MC seems pretty heartless in the first couple worlds but ends up falling pretty epically for ML which was cute. Plenty of face slapping, golden thigh hugging and dog food to keep any world-hopping fan happy lol. Don’t think too much, it’s just a fun read! <<less

It was alright. Not something that makes me want to re-read, nor something that was memorable.

It was interesting enough to complete reading.

Not the best I have read and not a particularly stellar work, but I still had an enjoyable reading process while it lasted. This is a typical novel where I'll forget what the plot is about and forget about the characters after a while. Especially since I wrote this review weeks after I finished with the novel, had to revisit and read a bit of the last chapter to refresh my memory on what this plot is about.

Not a solid 5 star, might even 4 for me, but for the translation and my enjoyment from reading this, I think this deserve a 5 star to boost the rating.

A little bit lower quality compare with QWFOD, and far from Heroic Death System. The world building in HDS is truly good. This one is lack in world building, the comedy is behind the Slag Shou, but the hidden plot is quite nice. The romance is cute and passionate, the comedy is there, the plot transitions is quite smooth.

The main plot was amazing! I love how it concluded.

Each arc was nice, but the concept was just okay, though the plots were good.

I hope there was more world building in each plot though, but considering how short the arcs were, it was already nice enough.

Hoping for a few more extras and hoped for more character development for side characters.

This novel is pretty great. Before reading, I didn't really have much expectation for this cuz like the name suggests MC holding thigh and I don't like reading s*upid MCs holding thighs. Nonetheless, when I start reading, I found it is quite different from my imagination. The first arc is a bit awkward because there is no real feelings between the MC and the ML like only the ML is in love and not MC. But the MC says he doesn't have heart so his heart can't beat for anyone.... more>> So, the ML in first arc is quite pitiful. Though from the second arc, the MC starts to grow genuine feelings towards the ML. He was quite cute acting jealous though he doesn't realize it himself. The arcs are pretty good. Although there are some unnecessary plots for example, in the third arc, the MC keeps telling the ML that the wine he personally brews is the only one and the best wine in the world and that he would let ML have a taste but later there's no mention of the wine at all. Jus as the arcs keep on going, the author let us see some relation between the MC's past and the ML. Their backstory is what I am reading the novel for. U guys should read till the end and read how Gu Bai becomes the recent Gu Bai and his past. Also the MC and the ML are very cute both in the past or in the present. •○• Anyway, I rate is 5/5 and if u want some cute and not so heavy QT with some backstory, u should read this one. <<less
