One of the many action he did, the most incomprehensible is when he was saving the kidnapped girls and the enemy start going berserk, he didn't bother saving the girl and used them to buy time. I mean, he is OP as f*ck, decided to save the girl, yet decided to forgot them cause some minor annoyance happen.

That is why I called him a maniac.

As I said, from other PoV, he is a twisted mental disorder bastard sent by evil god, with a crazy sicko friend

But no... He arrives at a town where streets are fairly crowded. He goes in and people are wearing clothes found in fantasy worlds. He then kills robbers or whatever. Then he goes to bookstore to buy [Books]. Later, he becomes an 《Adventurer》 and gets a quest.

Following that, the dialogues he had with extras were even more expositions and infodumps. I had completely lost it at this point, and was barely reading the supposed "action" scene wherein he shoots his guns, throws grenades, quotes Shakespeare's Macbeth, and then everybody is dead. New skills and titles pop up.

To clarify, the infodumps said that he would "quote" from all books that he absorbed and he could make, whatever it was, materialize. Therefore, if he had a library of information, he would have more stuff that he can make. The phrase "quote from books" made me think that he will recite passages from a legend or in the case of modern weaponry, state the name of the weapon and its specifications. Make, caliber, maybe a brief history. He doesn't need to go full gun-nut about it. Just something.

I could not have been more wrong. "MC summoned a "gun" from a military book he had read before." Aside from it being a submachine gun with an attached silencer, no further description was provided. And this is the part where the infodump is actually needed. For someone who was supposedly "quoting" something, he seemed to know very little about the subject and just glossed over it. Later on, he also traced the words "armored car" from the book and it manifested because reasons.

What the hell? What is it? Is it a humvee, an MRAP, or that thing you see in banks? Who knows? Nobody does. Why does that matter? Go ride your "sturdy mount" and pray to God that it's horse and not a tiger. If it's a tiger, then I hope you fall off.

Based on that incredulous criteria, along with the surprisingly limited explanation, it appears that all the MC really needed is a goddamned dictionary and he can then proceed to spam meteors, unleash hurricanes and call forth volcanoes. He can Scrabble the sh*t out of his opponents.

I guess it was the expectation of seeing items from other literary works be called upon and the realization that the novel is nowhere close to something like that is the reason that it ticked me off. So much that I decided to invest the time in making this rant of a review.

The author will probably (hopefully) expound more on how the summoning works at later chapters, however, chapter 4 has ended in a cliffhanger in front of the boss room but all the f*cks I had left were redirected here, instead of chapter 5.
