ML- Doing that thing with him is like committing su*cide, he's a beast, doesn't care about MC's feelings, health much, he just wanna go in, until MC become a rag doll!

But his demeanor as a king was so charming (even as a king he was c*cky) He is so intelligent, a good martial artist, takes official business very seriously.

... more>> Actually I initially thought I'll never be able to love the ML, but in the end of volume 2, I started to like him.

MC- A mountain bandit who is hard on the outside, but soft inside, if not how could he fall for that beast! MC is a bit pitiful, but he receives the love he gave, so not very much pitiful...

As you can see there are 2 volumes, the feeling those two gave me were a bit different.

After reading the first volume, I was so mad, angry! If I was there, I could have strangled the ML to death. URGH... There were many non cons, and all of them ended up as a bloody mess! And the way ML treated MC because of a certain someone was so unbearable.

All my intentions of killing the ML ceased after reading volume 2, the relationship got better, though the intense se* scenes happened, since the MC was willing, I think I enjoyed. There was love, so everything happened in volume 1... he he hee... I forgot.

Okay, my advice is, if you're gonna read, read both volumes, then you'll end up loving this, but if you stop at volume 1, you'll never be able to vent your anger, you got reading volume 1 (experienced). <<less

How should I rate this? First of all, read the tags. After you make sure you’ll be okay reading all the things mention in the tags, then prepare for HARDCORE smut. Yes, it’s BD*M in hardcore way, since the dom here training his sub from 0.

If you’re okay with that, then go ahead. I personally reduce my stars from 4.5 into 3 because the ML not only ab*se MC physically, but also mentally. Ch 8 to 10 I think, I forgot. The point is, I don’t mind psycho yandere, but..

I oppose harem. I guess it was realistic since ML is emperor. But i’m reading fiction after all. So I was really disappointed when ML ab*se MC mentally by showing MC that ML didn’t love him (it hurtssss sooo much in this part), then still hurt him with keeping his harem, not matter what reason he use.. MC also forgive ML too easy. Why that easy?? ML need to suffer after all the things he done!

Basically SM m*sturbation material (or so it seems), little plot or character development. If you have no participation or involvement in this world in addition to not understanding the changes in the characters, you will probably only experience anger and suffering here (just like me XD). 4 stars because the author pleased me in the end, originally they would be 3 for not particularly liking or disliking the novel itself.

This was the 8 or less than 10 BL books I read after discovering the world of BL novels. Will read again as its good. When I first started reading BL books, I will just randomly read.... but have since tidy up and read those that I wanna read and drop those that I do not want. Its a great to read BL book and will re-read again.

This was a real roller coaster. It was actually hard to read because of the messy situations and emotional downs and ups.

If you are not into hardcore stuff I would not recommend it. There is r*pe throughout the whole book. The 1st few chapters were dark and the seme is oppressive and obsessive. It goes from extreme violence to love suddenly. I feel the author had real mood swings.

While the setting of an emperor and the palace harem is realistic in sense, it wasnt disbanded and the reason is feasible... more>> it still annoyed me. Since it was supposed to be a happy ending but it didn't leave me feeling happy for them. <<less

Sometimes I still like some novel that have bast*rd ML personality but I can't hold up with this novel. The ML is so f"ck up that im sure he doesn't really atone for his mistake.

Not bad. Even though the story early on quite heavy and aghasty. Later part also is a bit better but abit occ. I don’t mind the violence. This is after all a story. It’s a good short read if you don’t mind the dark theme.

So cute, so underrated. Without those crazy ab*se, the couple is like He Tian and Guan Shan. Jing is like Tian with sadistic personality while LC is like Shan without cooking ability. What I like about LC is he has no fear to Jing and fight him without fear of death (what a hardcore tsundere). But tough tsundere uke requires tough seme so cannot really blame for the writer to make Jing sadistic as hell. I have stumbled upon this manga version along time ago and absolutely revolted by it.

I like reading r*pe, sadism, dark and psycho characters (ex. Killing stalking is very fun for me) but this story takes it to a lot whole new level and highlights the smut r*pe scenes heavily. It’d be fine if the characters hold some depths that make you want to explore further but sadly they are so bland and unlikable.

I am by no means cannot accept any hardcore or sadism type s*x esp in yaoi genre, bc I read quite a lot of manga/novels that basically just dipped into that genre but this novels plot somehow left a bitter taste in my mouth.. all I can think of the moment the MC easily forgave the ML when he just dropped down and knelt, begging for forgiveness is... the effect of Stockholm syndrome.... and just hw manipulative this ML is.. it kinda made me nauseous a bit. I never reacted strongly to this type of black bellied ML type of novel before but this one somehow get to me on a personal level. like, im more disturbed over the psychological ab*se compared to the physical tho it rly is still pretty bad but the psychological side of it just threw me off. I actually hoped that the ML get a lot worse of a fate than how this story ends but hey, im gonna give myself a pat in the back for managing to finish reading this lol

the story overall, imo, a bit painful for me but if im to dismiss my uneasiness, its not that bad. read it up. its fine. the last translator that picked the story up is doing better than the first two bc they're easier to read. but yeah!! my very first 3 star ratings!! uwu

It's an amazing novel! It's dark and the ML is very twisted, but it's also very well written. I recommend it for the ones who likes angst novels and ML who are dark, but not scum.

I simply don't have words to describe this novel like how can someone write this?

Okay I'll admit that the writing style and description of the characters plus the sereny are expectional but the author kinda wasted their talent. They could write so much better novels, through out the whole novel I was literally crying at how dumb lu cang is.

The 1st thing I want to say that whoever made this, the writer such a twisted to made it like that, I will love this story if the emperor become less annoying person.

The most sadistic bl love story I ever read. For the first couple chapter I was "uwa~~ uwa~~" "daebak" but more I cant help it to cringe, I dont like Emperor character AT ALL. The round trip of love have this same kind situation but that character force to become a MONSTER because he was separated from his... more>> lover, over and over even the lover have another normal patner. But in here the Emperor just like Yeonsangun, and the other hand Lu Cang too commit such a crime just a circle of hell but his not as a hateful like the emperor. Plus too intent in the carnal pleasure, I really want to enjoy such a kind of warm feeling in their own even the tags contain r*pe, Abusive, Stockholmes Syndrom etc but they should have that without that kind of "play".

Seriously even I said something foolish "Did our world turn into such a horrendous place?" A story, novel or webnovel reflected from our real life and the eyes of writer seeing them, I wonder and keep wonder "what kind of world the writer see?" "what the writer want to achieve when write this story?". Such a pity since the writer exposed us beyond the boundary of the bl theme and the situations. <<less
